We need to be spiritually alive and let the Spirit of the Lord guide us in everything because the Bible is not any simple book that belongs to the world. No, the the Bible belongs to God. It is the Word of God. And the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
