Bible Everyday Reading Mga Nobela at Kwento

Time for "old faithful." I pulled out some scriptures Ruthie, my best friend, gave me. I had a bookmark in Genesis Four. That's where I'd stopped the last time I needed help falling asleep. Yes, I was a scripture-reading teenager. However, my motivation wasn't to get all spiritual - it was to get so bored, I would fall asleep. It was a tip from Ruthie - whose parents were super righteous. Ruthie called the scriptures her insomnia cure - a biblical miracle! Ha! Fortunately, it worked for me, too. I cracked the book open to Genesis Four.

In my defense, I'm doing a service to humanity. I lift my gaze toward my father. "Okay, according to this site, 'Bible Today'—what kind of name is that, anyway?—it says the poor possessed person should be tied up. Apparently, the evil spirit controlling their body—these are the exact words—tends to get violent at the sight of holy water, a cross, or a Bible." I look back at my dad, and we both turn simultaneously toward little Amanda, who’s smiling at us, completely clueless.

I walked over and sat on the dusty floor right next to him. "You’re upset because you lost a kingdom that wasn't yours to begin with, Joshua," I said softly. "What is that supposed to mean?" Josh looked up, his eyes red. "You built your life on bluffs and vain threats. But look at you now. You’re human. You’re scared. And for the first time, you’re actually honest." I reached into my bag and pulled out my small, travel-worn Bible. "In the bus, you asked if the Psalms helped. They don't just 'help.' They remind me that even when I’m in the valley of the shadow of death, the real King 'EL-ROI' the God who sees me is with me."

In the bible, it says in James 1:21 (King James Version) "Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls." Engrafted means to insert or fix (something) permanently to something else. The Non-Russians at Mary's Church still kill Russians & disobey God's words. They are lukewarm Christians. They are lukewarm of the worst kind. In the Bible, it says in Revelation 3:16 (KJV)

Mom said as she drew Ola into a gentle hug. I walked over to the corner of the room where a little shelf was placed, I pulled out the big, black familiar book. It was my dad's most cherished belonging, his Bible. I opened to his favourite verse, walked over to my mom and handed it to her. 2 Corinthians 5:6-8: "So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord."

I demand, holding it until he takes hold of it. “For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” Thane reads the first chapter, halting as he stares at me. “Go on” I say, pointing towards the bible.

I took a deep breath and felt a drop of tears from my eyes. Can you imagine? I can't believe I am crying over this ......... I smiled wryly and bit my lip. Oh yeah... He's definitely going to pay for these tears. I am going to ensure that. Absolutely. ★★★★★ SUNDAY THE NEXT DAY. I yawned as I sat on the sofa in the living room Reading my Bible as was the routine every Sunday once we return from church. Although, I was feeling kind of sleepy, I knew I had no choice because if I don't, mum is going to make me aloe vera gel and veggies for supper.

“The bible allows man and woman to enjoy sex as long as they are married, the Bible says that your body belongs to your husband and your husband’s body belongs to you.. Are you with your bible?” “Yes” “Open to Proverbs 5 vs 19 and read it out loud” after reading it she looked shocked “Open to Songs of Solomon 7 vs 7-8” she was stunned again “Open to Isaiah 66 vs 11” she read again “Oh my God” she exclaimed “I have never seen this before” she said

’ Gideon asks, his wolf nudges a small shelf lined with books that all look handwritten, the pages are yellowing telling me it's old and when I pick up one of the copies I find the pages greasey like it's been handled too many times. ‘The Holy Bible: How God wants a pure world.’ I read for Gideon; it's hard to keep the disgust out of my voice, of course God has been dragged into this. Look at any point in human history and you will find religion as the reason why men hurt others. I holster my gun; knowing Gideon is standing guard allows me to flick through the Bible without care for my surroundings. The first page is all about how God created the world, nothing I haven’t read in an old Bible

Aside from that, there's no harm in trying. I took out my phone and opened the bible app that came with it, and to my amazement, Mister Handsome was correct. "Proverbs 4:25 says, 'Let your eyes be straight ahead; fix your gaze directly ahead of you.'" The bible chapters from Proverbs were exalted. I suddenly recall something, and things start to make sense to my ear. "Wait! "I thought it was a romantic way of saying sorry?" I asked. "Well. As you can see, the Bible is chock-full of surprises." Mister handsome remarked, smiling.
