Dear Stepbrother

Dear Stepbrother

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Dear K, I wrote all these words for you. Just these words, nothing less, nothing more. Just these words on these papers, Never said out loud, never to reach your ears. I wrote them down because I need you to understand something. Everyone else can read it and they won't know a single thing. Because I only meant these words for you. Just these words. Just here. Just you. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

This book has been one of my favorite books from you author. The love story of Ry and K is amazing. I would still read them from time to time and not get bored of their story. I love your writing especially on a romantic love story. So many emotions, laughter and tears.

Powerful Words

Powerful Words

Sunlight streamed through the window onto the back of my hand, feeling warm and pleasant. I looked up, met Alice's sincere gaze, and slowly said, "Officer, your wish will come true. From now on, we will both be safe and sound and live long lives." As soon as I said that, a gentle spring breeze blew outside the window. Magnolia petals drifted down from the trees, scattering fragrant beauty all over the ground. I knew I never had to stay silent anymore.

The F Word

The F Word

"Uh, yeah. You're almost thirty. You should be married by now and have a-" " Don't say it! " Paisley interrupted. " There you go again" Argued Kori as she sat up on the sofa. " You don't even want to hear the word fa-" "Kori!!" Paisley yelled and sighed at a startled Kori. "I've told you before. I don't want to hear the 'f' word" " It's called Family", Kori corrected and crossed her arms. " What do you hate so much about it?"

Weight of Words Untold

Weight of Words Untold

I watched as Dean's expression shifted rapidly, his lips pressed together in silence. After a long pause, I managed to force myself to stand, feeling the weight of his earlier victorious stance evaporate. Suddenly, exhaustion crashed over me, and I realized I didn't want anything more to do with this man. In a quiet voice, I said, "Dean, it's time to finalize the divorce." His eyes widened in shock before he quickly masked his surprise. As he glared at my retreating figure, his voice trembled with anger. "Veronica, what kind of person are you? Everyone can see it now!"

What?

What?

“Okay. I wanted you to have a good meal first before talking about you but Bruno just spoiled it. Okay, here we go… So I’m Noah, I own this land and that was Bruno, my assistant.” “And?” “Your name is Vlad, that’s all I know. We met last night, we had a few drinks and had a good talk.” “Vlad, oh yeah, I kinda remember, Vladimir! My name’s Vladimir!” Noah shared that we did have a good conversation last night and that we were talking about how I can help him complete the missing pieces before his grand opening but I can hardly recall any of it. I can only understand some of it like I was drinking and dancing but the rest was not even a blurr, It was all a blank!

The Gap in Our Words

The Gap in Our Words

I remembered how Edwin used to talk, so I stood up for my mother-in-law, "Edwin, you can't be so unkind. Your mom is only trying to help you. She's your mom; she wouldn't hurt you on purpose, right? "She worked so hard to raise you. She's always been careful with money, and she didn't mean to make a mistake. Can't you be a little more understanding?" I used to hear Edwin say those things when I was sick or when Teresa went to the hospital because of expired formula. Now, I was using his own words to see if he really was the devoted son he claimed to be. My words made everyone in the hospital ward look at Edwin, and they were all watching to see what he would do next.
