Only when she worked through her own delusions of being trapped would she truly be free. She recoiled as though slapped. Her hand flew to the ring, not to remove it, but to cradle it protectively. One tug and she could end his claims to her forever. The very thought made her stomach knot with protest. Tears sprang to her eyes but would not fall as she slowly obeyed him. With a trembling hand, she extended the ring, her throat too tight for words.

However, she couldn't allow him to get sick, as it might be passed on to her son. There was a coat hanger by the doorway of the study, and she reached for it to cover him. As she walked up to the sofa, her fingers had yet to place the coat over him when her wrist was firmly seized. The grip on her wrist was strong, causing her delicate wrist to feel like it might shatter. She instinctively let out a cry and tried to pull her hand back, but her efforts were in vain. Her feet slipped, and her entire body leaned forward, colliding into his firm chest without any warning.

I whisper to her. “I mean you no harm. Trust me, my heart…” I then step around her, sliding between her and the wall before I gently wrap one arm around her waist and reach up with the other. I touch the cuff on one wrist and smile as I don’t have to apply much pressure to make it shatter in my fingers, then as that arm falls limp over my shoulder swap my arm that is wrapped around her so that I can reach up and do the same to the other cuff. Again, it shatters with just the touch of my fingers.

But why! Her lashes clasped together tightly while her fingers remorseful lu curled up with the fabric of his shirt's collar trying to kero herself still. She had lost her balance and oxygen. It was difficult to hold herself still and so she left her body loose only to feel him circling his arm around her therefore giving her some support.

Lying body tangled with eachother, hot air exhaled, hands interlocked, both admiring the ring on her finger. "Do you have a date in mind, I can't wait"Andre whispered and kissed the ring on her finger.

I dipped a new piece of cotton ball and dipped it into the alcohol and dabbed it on the cut. "Shit." She hissed pouting. I stared at her pout and she quickly pursed her lips. I blew over the cut and she exhaled under her breath. She kept glancing at me when I started wrapping the plaster around her finger. She was probably wondering why I was dressing her wound. I was wondering the same. But it seemed some unknown force was guiding my movements. I held her hand in mine and looked at her finger. My left hand touched her bare knee and she quivered under my touch. I swallowed, looking into her orbs.

She mumbled. “It’s okay. Are you better now?” He further asked, and she nodded with a feeble smile. “Yes. I feel better now. Thank you, Alec.” She raised her left hand to clean her face and that was when Alec saw the ring on her index finger. He furrowed his brows in awe, staring intensely at it. Aurora looked at him and noticed him staring at her finger. “Oh.” She uttered, making him look at her face. “You just got that? I didn’t notice it the other day.” He uttered, and she smiled softly.

The woman grabbed my wrist. “I am so sorry!” Her fingers wrapped tightly around my skin as she helped me regain my balance. “Are you alright?” “I'm fine.” She smiled. She was young, blonde, and beautiful. Her beauty caught my attention for a few seconds, but she was completely unfamiliar. I didn’t see her in the games before. Her expression looked genuinely embarrassed. “I wasn't looking where I was going.” “It happens.” I dismissed it. She released my wrist, and I felt a little prick. I rubbed my wrist automatically. I looked at the antique ring on her finger and nodded. I thought it was a prick of a needle, but it, but it turned out it was her jewelry.

She took in the tension in the room and, her whole body stiffened. She stepped in between me and O’Malley. “Hey,” she whispered, her fingers brushing my wrist. Her hand trembled as she wrapped it around my clenched fist That single touch froze me in place. She was shaking, but she was also trying to calm me when she was the one bleeding inside. O’Malley’s eyes flicked to where her fingers clung to me. “Oh, I see. Didn’t expect less from you, Carter. Always the hero for the lost girl.”

My lips pull into a twisted smile as I got up from my seat and walked towards her. Her fingers wrapped around the railing as she clutched it so tightly it was almost possibly for the wood to crack in her hold but I was sure it wouldn't. It was made out of one of the strongest wood and her thin fingers could do no worse than slither around it in a stifling hold.
