Novel & Cerita Write A Short Book

Hehe, I'm sure some of you thinks she's just a cranky old lady, but she is one of my favorite additions to the cast and kind of my own way to vent against certain aspects of my own characters, lmao. In other words, she allows me to whine on Jace and I love it. • Why the short chapters? When I first started writing back in 2018, I use to make MEGA long chapters and I mean, INSANELY long! My first book, Laws of the Pack, had an average of around 5000 words per chapter which lead me to have very frequent writer blocks since I had to constantly think of extra text or out of no where context to fill up the gaps. My sincere thanks to you for reading the short book, Epidemic. This is actually my first sci-fi and zombie type of story, but I hope I did well, and I'll surely work more on improving myself. I wrote this book in a day without even planning for it before (LOL). A colleague of mine asked for one of my works to be added to an anthology he is currently working on. He specified it must be sci-fi, I've never written any sci-fi book before, so I had to quickly put down something. It's kinda funny, I know.

I walked over to the children's books area, I was thankful no one was around as I sat down in a beanbag after grabbing a few books to read. "Ella, stop slouching around and get to work" my manager yells at me, there was no one in the shop while I was sitting around here. I looked up to see a woman standing next to the register, I huffed angrily and put the book away before walking over to the nice looking lady. "Hi ma'am, how may I help you?" I ask the woman, she was only about five feet tall, with brown long hair and brown eyes. "Hello, I'm here for the new werewolf story" she says looking at me, I tried my best to hide under my own overgrown bangs.

Until now, strange short stories had only very short stories. But from volume two I intend to add stories that have 10 to 20 captains as well. These stories are not so long nor have so much visibility as a separated book. For this reason, I decided to move all then into strange short stories, that is already a storybook of different themes.

My thinking is that I add an authors note a the end of 'book' 1 so to speak and re-write the synopsis to advise any new readers that it will be 2 books in one. Alternatively, the other idea I had was to just have a longer book, but I don't want the length to scare off new readers. Thanks in advance! :)

Wow, wow, wow! This book is finally complete! Thanks to God, and thanks to everyone who supported me. Your comments, suggestions, and social media follows encouraged me in the best ways. I'm very happy about this. This is literally not my longest book, but I spent about three months writing it, which is something I normally don't do. 😔 Anyway, I'm happy that it's now complete!
