The Mafia's Captured Slave

The Mafia's Captured Slave

But I can't. Wait!! I can. A mischievous idea suddenly came into my mind as a devious smirk curled up my lips. I took my phone out and approached G****e for help. But which language should I choose. Spanish is fine, I guess. I pressed the search button before typing, very VERY bad words in Spanish. The page opened and there were many Spanish bad words along with the English meaning. But I selected the two easy one. One was, Qué cabron- what a bastard.

Just there, in a different language, entirely itself. "She said things that don't exist yet in English," Dante said. "And now they do," Elian said. He set the book on the table between them. They looked at it — this object that had not existed six months ago and that existed now because Catalina Reyes had sat in her Lisbon flat with four languages and eight years of applied attention and had found the English inside the Spanish without losing what made the Spanish worth finding. "She's going to be extraordinary at this," Elian said.

[147] As a lingua franca or creole language of Filipinos, major languages of the country like Chavacano, Cebuano, Tagalog, Kapampangan, Pangasinan, Bikol, Hiligaynon, and Ilocano assimilated many different words and expressions from Castilian Spanish. Chavacano is the only Spanish-based creole language in Asia. Its vocabulary is 90 percent Spanish, and the remaining 10 percent is a mixture of predominantly Portuguese, Nahuatl (Mexican Indian), Hiligaynon, and some English. Chavacano is considered by the Instituto Cervantes to be a Spanish-based language.[148][failed verification]

Our Young Funny Voices

Our Young Funny Voices

I grinned, listening to my girlfriend groan with praise for all the new flavors she was trying for the first time. “No wonder Americans get fat.” Vasha mumbled in between mouthfuls of her grilled chicken taco. I loved watching her eat, and enjoying herself. So much so that my own steak taco remained untouched on my tray. You know how it is when you love someone? Everything they do is automatically interesting...but Vasha was especially entertaining to observe. She raised her head to inhale the intoxicating aroma. Festive Spanish music played overhead and she listened to it for a moment before exclaiming, “Detka, this doesn’t sound like English...but some words seem similar to English.” “You’

Breaking Cairos Veylan

Breaking Cairos Veylan

“Are you trying to mess with me?” His expression went cold instantly. “Look, lady, I’ve had enough of your bullshit. Either say the fucking password in Spanish… or get the hell out of this property.” I swallowed hard. Yeah… he was definitely getting pissed. “O-okay… tiger, calm down,” I muttered under my breath, raising my hands slightly. Bad idea. Very bad idea. His eyes darkened at that. Right. Focus. Spanish. I glanced back at the wolf statue, my pulse kicking up. My Spanish was rusty at best, and now of all times my brain wanted to go blank. Lunar… okay, that stays the same. Gate… puerta, right? And thirteen… trece…

In Bed With The MC President

In Bed With The MC President

Mila Welcome home, mi perdición. Rest now. I will be with you for dinner. I stared at the paper until the elegant black cursive began to blur into meaningless shapes. My thumb traced the sharp edge of the wax seal. Mi perdición. I whispered the words aloud to the empty room. The syllables rolled off my tongue. I didn't speak Spanish. I knew a few basic conversational words from living in the city but not this. Mi meant my. That's all I knew.

A Woman's Worth

A Woman's Worth

She was grinning from ear to ear as she socialized with them and brought out the gifts she prepared as well. “Mommy, did you have fun with Daddy?” “Mwommy, awe we havwing a shibying shoon?” TBC Maple Writes (Had to research this one before anything else. Spanish is something I know nothing about except welcome and excuse me so if there are things that are not correct, do tell me about it and I will gladly improve. The dialogues used are machine-translated, so forgive me if there are errors. Don't forget to leave a comment, share and give me reviews for me to know if there are things that I should improve with and change at the same time. Have a good day. Enjoy reading.)

TILL DEATH DO US PART.

TILL DEATH DO US PART.

ARDYN. It's been four days and Princess and I haven't squashed our differences. Asides from speaking to her everyday while still being upset, I've learnt a few Spanish terms. One ¿Cómo estás? Which means "How are you". Two ¿Cómo estuvo tu noche? Which means "How was your night?". And finally, three Realmente no respondiste a mi pregunta sobre si habla español o no. Which means "You didn't really answer my question on whether he speaks Spanish or not."

It's not everytime we get books like this, it shouldn't always be about smut all the time. I love this book because it captures and reflect on how everything is supposed to feel like when you're in love.

I think this book has so much potential as I’m still in the first few chapters. I also see that people are reading it with me and I think everyone should lay out their opinions. My favorite character has to be Zee.
