Novel & Cerita Writing A Romance Book

But I don't really care. I continue typing my monologue for my new book. My new work is going to be a romance but with a sick, gothic twist. It's exciting to write something new apart from my usual books. I hope that my editor likes my pitch. Otherwise, I'm going to start from scratch. And I have a deadline. The hum of my laptop echoes through the living room. I sit on the nice periwinkle couch. It's not mine, but it feels so good. I have been visiting Stan with every opportunity I have. I'm going to his house so often that I have a spare key. Stan didn't need to give it to me. But he insists that I come and make myself feel at home. Is that a red flag?

My brain was just too confused at the moment I was at loss of words and did not even understand how I was to think, how did decide to what I wanted and most important, how to avoid him which he was starting to prove difficult for me to achieve. “I like to observe people who are in love a lot. I think I might even end up writing a romance novel. It’s just a sight to behold, a sight to watch and be happy because of how beautiful it is. You know, it feels like imagining something in the middle of hardship. Just like how authors make their characters get things they don’t have in real life. Since it’s the world they created, they can do whatever they want with it.

"Now go write your dark, possessive heroes. Make them hot and dangerous enough to earn that redemption arc." I laughed. "That's not how it works." "It's exactly how it works. Romance novel 101. A boy does bad things, the boy suffers, the boy grovels and the girl takes him back." She winked. "Easy." I watched her walk away, her bright hair bouncing, her laughter trailing behind her like confetti. The boy does bad things, suffers and grovels to the girl. Victor didn't strike me as the groveling type.

"I think your stories are great, Zam. The world needs to read it." Zamantha frowned and stopped typing her thesis on the laptop. "I just can't get past the romance plot of my stories. I don't know how to freaking write it. I don't know the feeling of being in love." Zamantha grinned devilishly. "Perhaps, you can enlighten me? You know, you're mending a broken heart again."

Mark. He grinned as he made himself comfortable next to me, his hand casually placed on my shoulder. "I could have never guess you write forbidden romance," he admitted hoarsely. "Let alone forbidden...erotica." "Why? You think love alone completes a romance story?" I folded my arms over my chest. He shrugged. "Isn't the essence of romance all about love?" I shook my head. "Love makes people dumb. I think I'II just stick to sex over love in romance, it's less complicated."

She said. "Come on this is not a marriage proposal, do you think my marriage proposal will be as lame as this? I can be very romantic when I want to be you know." I said and she laughed. "You? Romantic? Okay tell me, how will your marriage proposal be?" She asked. "You'll only get to find out if you accept to date me now so do you?" I asked. "I told you so." She said. "What?" "I told you back then remember? You said you weren't ever going to fall in love, I told you that you will and I'll be here to say I told you so when that happens." She said and I laughed.

I replied but was interrupted by her scream. "What?" "I found the book you need," her cheek instantly reddened as well. "Let me see," I grabbed the book from her hand, gazing at the cover. "Seducing him," was written on the cover and I smiled when I imagined seducing him in my head. "Luna, we should go sit, you need to get reading," "No, pick up a book, anyone of your choice," she was shy at first but then, she picked up one of the books that was a romance novel. It wasn't lengthy and I was sure she would be able to finish it before we left.

As a writer it's really disheartening and demotivating because conveying emotions, making you laugh and cry with the words is not an easy task. In the beginning and even in the middle, I gave multiple warnings about dark theme. And if you are finding that what Damien has done to Angel is too much than you haven't actually read any dark romance yet. I am not the kind of person who rants like this or gets angry but I can't tolerate it when it becomes too much.
