Writing A Romance Novel Novels & Stories

In a world that often encourages us to be guarded, practical, and detached, choosing to open your heart can be the most difficult decision of all. Writing this story was an emotional journey for me as well. There were moments where I questioned choices, explored different possibilities for the characters, and thought deeply about what kind of ending would feel true to their journey. My goal was not just to create a romance, but to create an experience one that lingers with you even after you turn the final page.

As the story unfolded lighthearted banter, stolen glances, the kind of sweet romance that made your heart flutter—I tried to lose myself in it. Mira laughed at the jokes, nudging me with her elbow, but I could only manage faint smiles. My mind wandered back to Zayden, to the way his touch had once felt like safety, now tainted by blood.

I wanted to be responsible for a novel that would leave readers at the tip of the chair, that would make them ashamed to read in public because they would feel all the emotions and sensations of the protagonist, and that would make them addictive enough to read more than once. However, I didn't know where to start. As much as my readings were exclusively of adult novels, I didn't know how I should start a story about it. Everything I thought about was about an independent protagonist who became an outlaw impossible to be captured. I didn't know if an adult romance story could start with a description like the diary of that protagonist, or if it should start in a cliché of adults who bump int

Hey, Y'all!!!! Another romantic adventure came to an end. It has been such an interesting ride. It has been funny, sad, frustrating, tearful, annoying (Yes, I've said it!), but all in all, it has been the most fulfilling writing experience I've had in the last eight months. The plot came out of nowhere, pushing me to give birth to this love story. In no time, Rhiannon and Paxton took over me, and... the rest, as they say, is history.

His eyes flashed darkly for a moment. He then lifted his head again. His face was full of tenderness as he softly said, "Ana, there's nothing more important in this world than you. This was beyond anything that was written in romance novels. The young ladies in the coffee shop were excited, their faces flushed. The movement pulled her blouse slightly tighter across her chest. Riley forced her eyes up. “Interesting,” Elena murmured. “Many students write about romance. You wrote about the ache. The risk.” She tilted her head. “Late office hours tomorrow if you want to discuss expanding that analysis. I don’t offer this to everyone.”

In the novel, the Moon Spirit Trial was supposed to be painless, holy. If the accused were innocent, they were immediately vindicated by the Moon Spirit. There was no burning the innocent! No death! No screaming for help that would never come! What is this hell! By the time she finally calmed herself down, the sun had already set. She had cried, passed out from exhaustion, and woken up only to cry again.
