Dearest reader, When I first started writing this story, I had no idea what I was stepping into. Dante and Alera’s world began as a whisper in my head. Thier love was a messy, aching kind that demanded to be told and somehow, it became my very first published book on GoodNovel. This journey has been everything but easy. It’s been a learning and humbling curve. I’ve stumbled, grown, rewritten, cried, and smiled through every chapter. But most importantly, I’ve learned that stories have a way of healing not just the characters but the person writing them too.

The future embodied in a child who carried no shadow of Ethan’s cruelty, only the light Amara had fought so hard to protect. That spring, Amara stood at the window of her study, watching Noah and Luca in the backyard. Noah chased Luca with a soccer ball, his laughter spilling over the fence to mingle with the sounds of the neighborhood. Her desk was scattered with drafts of her next book. Not a memoir this time, but a novel. Fiction, born from freedom rather than necessity. For the first time in years, she was writing not to survive, not to confess, but simply because she wanted to.

Chapter 100(whew!!!) The Author's Yap If you've made it here... Hi. First of all, thank you. Seriously, thank you. This is my very first completed novel, and I honestly don't know how to explain what this journey has been like. Before writing this book, I worked as a ghostwriter. My job was simple in comparison. I was given outlines, chapter breakdowns, character directions, and all I had to do was bring someone else's vision to life. It wasn't easy, but there was always a map.
