She shaked and woke him up so hard.

Maybe I should just tell her straight up I'm not freaking interested. " Six months ago, Jonah and I visited this club in Miami. It was new and just opening. Jonah took me out as part of my victory dinner. I met this brunette, she was the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. We talked and later on went back to her apartment to have sex. I left before dawn. Didn't want to face her and women don't like it when they wake up to see their one nightstand still in their beds. Two days ago, it turned out our new physics professor was my one night stand six months ago. It's fucked up."

So, he time travelled to the assigned year and month but wrong place. He sat on his toes examining the calendar if he really got it right. He is now realizing that the scientist never mentioned neither the exact time nor the place. Mesopotamia or Africa, his earlier mentioned time travel place, is a huge one in itself. He mentioned 1 m.y.a or 5000 BCE without mentioning the time, day or anything specific. Even in this time travel he mentioned January 2015 but didn't specify either the time nor the date. This made Valentine realize that this invention of George works but on uncertainty. He hits his head on the wall for the stupidity he has done in believing the stupid scientist and not analyz

Jaime Barthes was the only son of the wealthiest family in Hartow City. Ever since he was a child, he could have anything he wanted. On his fifteenth birthday, he fell for Eden Hawthorn the moment he first saw her. Right then and there, he boldly declared, "She belongs to me, and nobody should ever think about touching her!" During the entire decade of their marriage, he was obsessively protective of her. She was forbidden from any kind of interaction with men, and she had to employ the help of her assistant for something as mundane as handing a report to a male colleague. Everyone assumed this was simply Jaime's love language. One day, he caught a terminal disease. The entire nation fr

Everyone in my family knew me as a tattletale. I had one simple rule in life—I refused to endure even the tiniest bit of unfairness. When I was three, my uncle sneaked a slice of my apple pie. That night, I marched straight to my grandpa's bedside, burst into tears, and told him exactly what had happened. The next morning, my uncle ended up getting whacked by Grandpa with his cane, under the excuse that he had left the house without saying goodbye. By the time I was eight, I had learned that Christmas was another excellent opportunity to report suspicious behavior. When my cousin secretly stuffed all the presents into the cabinet, I immediately went to my aunt and whispered the whole stor

And right now, alone in this office at exactly eleven forty seven at night, he was falling apart very, very slowly. He stood up. Walked to the door. Picked up the paper. Unfolded it. The hotel security log was exactly what she said it was. Cold. Official. The kind of document that didn't have feelings or motivations or reasons. Just times and dates and room numbers. 1:00 a.m. — keycard access. Room 714. 3:07 a.m. — keycard access. Room 714. He stared at the gap between those two times. Two hours and seven minutes.

You’re not escaping from me that easily. Alessia felt embarrassed and tried to pull away, but he held her in place. He looked at her mischievously. ‘Did you really think Wilda left us alone by accident?’ Alessia said nothing. ‘Our alone time,’ Logan declared, rolling up his sleeve to reveal a luxurious Vacheron Constantin watch. ‘We’ve got nine and a half minutes. What do you want to do?’ Alessia blushed and protested, ‘Nothing! We can’t do anything here in the office!’

Sophie looked out the window so he couldn't see what that did to her face. They stopped after two hours at a service station somewhere past Wetherby, the kind of place that existed entirely outside normal time, all bright lights and slightly too-warm coffee and the particular exhausted neutrality of people in transit. Julian bought terrible sandwiches and Sophie bought chocolate she didn't need and they stood outside in the cold because the inside was too loud, and it was there, standing in a service station car park in the middle of England with terrible sandwiches and the motorway noise in the background, that something shifted.

Her expression was the same but her posture had shifted, something in the line of her shoulders that I catalogued without immediately knowing what to do with. Then I looked at the timestamp. It was wrong. Not obviously. Not in a way that would register without the previous footage to compare against. But the light through the high panel above the door was positioned for early morning. The message had arrived at four fifty-three in the afternoon. I pulled up the original four-second clip and compared the two. Same clothing. Identical. Not similar. Identical, down to the position of the collar. They weren't showing me where she was. They were showing me what they wanted me to believe.

I stood where I was and said with a cold expression, "Today is the day for the medicine. What? You forgot it?" Hearing this, Oogway, sitting on his desk, took out his mobile phone and looked at the time. He frowned slightly and said to me, "It's tomorrow." "Tomorrow?" I thought I was on the right side, but I didn't expect to remember the wrong day. I took out my phone and looked at my record. I really thought it was today. I calculated the time quickly again. And only realized that I had miscalculated. Teresa sat on the sofa, looked up at me, and said with a smile, "Miss Jetson, since you are here, please sit down. I have something to talk with you."
