I finally caught up on the 'Wu Dong Qian Kun' manhua after a long reading binge. It follows the general arc of the original novel by Tian Can Tu Dou pretty closely. The ending has Lin Dong achieving the Supreme Master level after the final, massive battle against the Yi Mo (the Yimo). He basically saves the entire universe, reunites with his loved ones, and establishes peace. It's that classic xianxia 'ascend to the peak and protect everything' finale.
Now, about a sequel. There's no direct continuation of Lin Dong's story. However, Tian Can Tu Dou's novels exist in a shared multiverse. His next work, 'The Great Ruler', takes place in a different realm but eventually connects back. Characters from 'Wu Dong Qian Kun', including Lin Dong and Ling Qingzhu, make cameo appearances later in that story. So while there's no 'Wu Dong Qian Kun Part 2', the world expands elsewhere. The manhua adaptation for 'Wu Dong Qian Kun' itself is complete, so you get the full journey.
Personally, I thought the manhua's art really shone during the big fights, but the pacing felt rushed toward the end compared to the novel's more detailed cultivation breakdowns.
