ALEXANDRIA I watched as Wyatt began wandering around the library, returning to place books down on the table. I slightly straightened to read one of the titles. Most of the books were about werewolf history, while some focused on the topic of becoming a better leader. Wyatt finally sat back down and opened one of the books, but he paused when he felt my stare. “What?” he asked, looking up. “You actually read?” I muttered, a hint of disbelief in my voice.

Daniel confessed. "He would die for you too," I affirmed. "It turns out, Daliah, that the last time we were here, two things happened. First, I got a new scar. Then, I told Liam the one thing he was letting slip: I wasn't falling in love with you. I was recognizing you," Daniel revealed. "Recognizing me?" "Yes, like an air wolf." "Liam told me," I said. "I know he did. He was worried about not being able to read you. The only explanation for not being able to read your mate is that she's an air wolf."

Someone started to bang on the door uncontrollably… lilac and Johnathan backed away from the door thinking it was a trap to lure them on but the banging on the door continued relentlessly, and they decided to see who was inside… They looked at each other and Johnathan nodded preparing to attack if it turned out that it was a dark witch. “Let me do it,” Johnathan said but Lilac immediately disagreed firmly. “No! You almost stumbled just now. And I'm a lycan, this is a piece of cake for me” Johnathan knew how stubborn Lilac was and knew he couldn't argue with her so he stepped back and let her do her thing.

The floors were a black marble tiles and the walls were painted fully white with golden spiral stairs leading to the floor above us. Multiple paintings of werewolves hung on the wall and the scent of Jasmine and lavender filled my nostrils. I noticed they were coming from the scented candles in certain parts of the room. I found Lycan sitting on one of his black leather sofas, a glass mug in his hand, his eyes fixed to the laptop on the glass table in front of him. The voice coming from the laptop made me realise he was having a video conference.

We both yelled together, causing Haidan to burst into giggles. Shooting Ashton a glare, I tried to push down my quickly growing anger. "It was probably because he was the most recent one to piss me off, so he was in my head." I tried, though I knew it sounded weak. "Sure, keep telling yourself that." Ashton chuckled in satisfaction. "Anyway, how about we tell them about the band of lycans that are now kidnapping children?" "Right." That was the important thing. "I don’t mean to alarm anyone, especially given that you’re new parents, but I think that lycans are working with the dark mages."

Lynexia returned to her plate and picked at her food. “So, Lynexia, what do you think of your new home?” Xander questioned. “Its nice.” she responded not looking up. “How did you sleep?” Ginger questioned. “Fine, I guess.” the young girl shrugged. “How did you spend your day?” the older woman asked. “I looked around the apartment, took a nap, and read a couple of books.” Lynexia explained. “Oh, what books did you read?” Ginger perked up. “Well, I actually found a set of books that said they were published right here. The author was listed as Selinas Astrea.” Lynexia responded. “A very good writer. They tell great stories that keep the legends of wolves through the generations.” Xander states
