Another zombie latched onto the back, its growls muffled by the roaring engine. The air was thick with the stench of decay and the sounds of battle—gunshots, growls, and the desperate shouts of the survivors as the ability users in their trucks keep shooting the power towards the zombies.

"Screw this." I looked over at Burney, horrified to see him running at Stan. He threw his weight into the Taken's back, knocking him forward. Stan shrieked from the surprise attack and Mike grunted, landing pinned beneath the Taken Scorcher. I turned from the three man pile and reefed the gun free of Ronnie's stiff fingers. "Burney!" He'd separated himself from the other two and was standing over them, poised to strike with Stan's makeshift stake. "You can't kill him that way," I yelled, throwing him the gun, "It'll send the shade bolting to someone else!"

They would be in trouble if the undead army got out of control. Matt and the others also looked nervous and stood on high alert. Wilbur merely chuckled at the spectacle. He raised the thunder cleaver and rushed into the horde of zombies fearlessly. "Die!" Wilbur shouted. The zombies were incinerated by the thunder cleaver's attacks, burnt to a crisp by the lightning. Only the Alpha Zombies and Zombie Kings survived Wilbur's initial attack. However, they were defeated with a few swings of the thunder cleaver. Zeke was furious to see Wilbur killing his undead army with ease.
