She felt like her life was one big mistake, she hasn't had a real home since she was three years old. She is no-one special, she is loving, caring, kindhearted and always put others before herself. She is Seraphina Amara Wolfe and just an ordinary werewolf.

Her hand touched a small box with an unusual symbol on it that seemed to glow like the sun. She pulled open the lid and picked up the book inside to see it. She read its name under her breath, "Exorcism: Eldritch Werewolves." Her eyes widened when she found out it was a witchcraft book about werewolves. The words "magic" and "witches" didn't sound right in her mind, and she didn't want to believe the things she was reading, but somehow she did. She put the book back into the box and saw the ashes that scattered nearby. From among the ashes, she saw a half-burnt picture of Emily and the scarf she had given her on her last birthday. It brought tears to Esen's eyes.

She picked it up and was about to keep it on the shelf when the title caught her attention. “Life of the Supernatural World,” Saraya read and paused. She stared at the book for a long moment before sitting on the floor and folding her legs beneath her. She started reading without realizing how much time passed. The book was about all supernatural kinds — vampires, werewolves, fairies, witches, demons, etc. Saraya, who was reading about werewolves, recalled Raf telling her that he was the Hybrid King.

"Let me know what you like to read and I'll make up a list for you." "One of the things I'm interested in is the legend of the werewolf. Do you have any good books about that?" Jamie froze in place. Werewolves? Was this some kind of weird cosmic accident? Because ever since she'd found that old book in the attic she'd been reading everything about werewolves she could get her hands on. She was rooted to the spot, her eyes locked with his strange amber ones. She stared at him and for several seconds she swore something shimmered in the air between them like electricity only stronger. Her immediate surroundings faded into a mist and only she and Mike existed.

“When the time comes, you won’t face him alone.” His words give me strength, but the thought of confronting Ryker sends a shiver down my spine. I take a sip of the wine, letting its warmth spread through me, and force myself to focus on the present. “Tell me something good,” I say, changing the subject. Ramon smiles, the corners of his mouth quirking up in a way that makes my heart flutter. “Something good?” He pauses, pretending to think. “I found an old book in my library today. It’s about hybrid creatures, wolves and something more. I thought it might help us understand your abilities better.”

As we walked, the soft thud of our footsteps echoed through the solemn space. Jeremiah, a wise and weathered wolf with a graying muzzle, carried an ancient book in his hands. Its leather cover was worn, its pages yellowed with age. We reached a magnificent wooden table, carved with the same designs, and Jeremiah gently placed the book upon it. "Lyra," he began, his voice deep and resonant, "this book holds the secrets of our pack's legacy, and within its pages lies the tale of the Silver Werewolf." My curiosity piqued, I leaned in closer, my eyes fixed on the book. "Tell me, Jeremiah," I said, my voice filled with anticipation. "What is the story of the Silver Werewolf?"

This book is dedicated to Bukade—my awesome friend who's helped me very very much in the creation of this book, and Favour Edem, too—my first love, for taking her time to explain stuffs about Werewolves, and Vamps, and Witches to me. Blood spills out from open wound. I take a step back as Valdis begins to stand again. He sheds his black armor, replacing it with deep ruby scales.  His scales, are cold as ice, blaze bright as an ever-flickering flame. His chest holds a hearth of burning fire, although in his remorseless heart lays rime much like the depths of his eyes. He lets out a huff of steamy air from his nose, staring on at me. The officials in the room gather in the back. Waves of fear roll from them in large bouts. My father stares into my eyes sending a large bout of dominance soaring through the room. The intense pressure has me gasping for air but I fight the urge to submit to him by releasing my own dominance.

Into memories that weren’t hers. --- She saw a field of golden flame. Two wolves—one silver, one midnight black—circling each other in an endless dance. The silver wolf howled, and the flames parted. From within them, a child was born. Not just of wolf blood… but of something more. She saw visions of herself, walking through fire without burning. Of her child, eyes glowing with both the moon and the sun. Then the vision changed. The Wyrm, massive and serpentine, loomed behind the child, its mouth stretching open as if to consume.
