As soon as I was done, I noticed Ben looking astonished, and a bit terrified, while Nicolas seemed shocked and proud.

His devilish grin has a shiver of fear, mixed with something dark and enjoyable, running down my spine. “I am Alessio Peccati. The mafia king.” It seems like our sweet and good natured Catherine might have a dark side that she hides. Dmitri spat out blood in my direction, an act of disrespect. I stood up from the chair and walked closer to him, raising his chin so he could take a look at me. They're dark and mysterious. They're always with a gun. They have several women..."
