Hey, readers! Mafia's Vice will be coming to an end today, we only have about 3 more chapters to go! I would like to hear your opinions on the characters in this book. Who is your favourite? I know most of you have grown to love Sienna and all she went through at the start of her marriage and hated Dante in the beginning, but I must admit that I have a soft spot for il Drago ;) Let me know in the comments! The chains weighed me down, making me feel very immobile. Damien's orders, I assumed, I bet. The man tightened the chain around my neck until it was choking me, then forcefully tugged me forward, and I stumbled forward with him. Each time the man's fingers tugged my neck, the metal would burn into my skin. And I ask myself, when did I go from a mafia princess to a slave I had read about in history books? I was one of those people who had no freedom. No rights. No humanity. That was exactly what I had become. As I was brought out of the church, I glanced back to look at the sky above me.

Where have I heard that name before? Deciding I had enough of listening to the news, I turn the TV off as I put on some music before I focus on the book I am reading. I am reading a Mafia romance where the male lead is the mafia underboss, and he falls for the girl that is the sunshine to his grumpy mood. I can’t help but snort from time to time thinking how can she fall for everything he does to her. How he plays and manipulates her without giving nothing back. I must have fallen asleep while I was reading in bed after dinner because when I open my eyes and stretch my arms I feel like I have slept for hours. I look around the room and remember the morning I woke up in Dash’s bed.

Lorenzo said. "She is dangerous. They hacked into our systems," Paul said. "What! If they manage to hack into your system and you are one of the best, that means they can hack any mafia system," Lorenzo said. "She has. I know she has," I told them. "How?" James asked. "If their system knows which tattoo belongs to which mafia, which cars, the leaders, their wives, and children, you think that they haven't?" I asked, and they all kept quiet. "We need them on our side as soon as possible. Maybe she can help us defeat Elijah," James said.

That wasn't comforting. “And if she isn't?” “We will kill each and every one of them. Vincenzo is ruthless, but he is not stupid. I am sure he wouldn't want to start a war with you”, Ben said, no matter how comforting his words were. These people were Mafia lords, they feared no one, not even the law itself. My eyes drifted off to the CCTV footage, “Cara is leaving, let's follow her” I said, standing up. Usually, I wouldn't be present to catch her myself, but I was anxious about Taylor, any sort of distraction just not to worry was highly welcome.
