I kicked him in the gut and he fell backwards. I used my knee to hit the other on the head and that made him release his grip on me. As I stood up, I felt my legs give in and I fell to the floor. The two men stood over me and laughed. In the moonlight, I could see the shine of the knife. From the smell, it was laced with wolfsbane. I wondered who these people were and why they were trying to kill me. I wanted to scream for help, and I did try, but no sound came out. I felt so weak. He raised the knife and I thought this was the end.

XD said as Xander turned to grin at him. “Watch out!” XD yelled as he pointed in front of him but it was too late as a thud was heard and the car skidded to a stop. “Fuck….was that a cat?” Xander asked as he put off his seat belt and got out of the car. “That was too big to be a cat.” XD replied as he got out into the pouring rain and walked in front where he saw a man unconscious with a phone in his hand. *****

Without further ado, a single blow lands on Xion's jaw delivered by one of the men with a mole above his lips. Xion falls again, clutching his jaw which is suddenly punched before he is ready to dodge. Blood drips from the corners of his lips as the man strokes the corners of his lips.

Chapter 3 Axel I was just finishing up in the bar. I had kicked the last few lads out of the bar at closing time. I was cleaning the counter and wiping the tables. We did have cleaners that did the cleaning, but I found it therapeutic. I was wiping the bar down when I heard a loud noise outside. I could hear men arguing. That’s all I need. I opened the doors and saw two men fighting. I ran over to them and grabbed both of them by their collars and dragged them apart. “What the fuck is going on? Get out of here before I call the cops.” I was a big fuck. I’m tall, well over 6 feet. I was built, I spent an hour in the gym every day, like I said, I’m a big fuck. I was intimidating. “You used to have so much potential but ever since I put you on this job, you've been lacking. What are you, in sixth grade? You better man up or I do this my own way where your precious little bitch won't be safe at all.” He pressed a button on the wall. The door opened almost instantly, and four massive men walked in. Their eyes locked on me like they’d been waiting all night for this. "Take out the trash," he ordered. "Give him a taste." They didn’t drag me far—just down the hall, into a darker room that smelled faintly of sweat and metal. The room where he punished his men. Then the hits started. Fists, boots, blows that landed in hard bursts.

She could hear animalistic sounds coming from outside and while she was glad that they had not been killed, she wasn’t so sure about this time. She could hear the snapping of bones and she knew that the fight got more serious than it was before. Right outside, Alpha Xander stood above Alpha Norman. “Spare me please.” He begged. Xander wanted to spare him so he could be an example to other Alphas who wanted to be over ambitious. He needed to remind them that this was his territory and nothing happened without his permission. But then he looked at the three girls whose lifeless bodies lay in the grass. He made up his mind.

The sight of the man burning him completely. "So long." Athesmos cried in his heart as he saw Xrysos fall the last man surrounding him. Xrysos stood in the middle of dead bloody men, his breathing rushing out of him. He swiped sweat off his face and spun around meeting Athesmos painful stare. Enos seems to have passed as they stare into each other's eyes and then Xrysos moved towards the enemy, bloody sword in one hand, one question in mind. "Will I ever be strong enough to strike you?" Xrysos's breath hitched in his throat as he got closer to the man.
