Xander waves back and practically hops to the van. I suck in a deep breath, tighten my hold on my backpack sling and trudge towards the van. Mr. Penrose is already in the driver’s seat, tapping at his phone and muttering, “Van Three’s moving. We’ll follow behind.” I climb into the van to see Xander Adams in the very back row. He’s leaning against the window, legs stretched out, his sweatshirt hood half up looking way too sexy for his own good. When he spots me, he grins and pats the seat beside him.

Xander's eyebrows went up the side, added One More serving and said, "I want that too. They all can not match me rarely sleep. But don't share this secret." Nadhea felt bribed to say Yes slowly as long as their food orders were both still on the way. "I'm an insomniac type of person so there's no way I'm using drugs or special products. They just want to make me look like me. Let my body stay fit most drink vitamins and isotonic drinks, " whispered Mr. Xander approached his face to Nadhea then close between the forehead. "As far as I noticed, I'm sure that he guessed it already," Xander replied with a faint smile knowing his nephew's cunning strategies. "If he isn't aware of it, why would he allow me to hear the personal conversation in between him and her regarding her personal life? Though He didn’t say it out, but I could tell he is aware of everything. With the connections he has, it's not that hard for him to find out everything."

' Then, Lucas said, "Stop smoking. Let's go and celebrate your birthday." The gang gathered here for the purpose of celebrating Xander's birthday together. His birthday was on the 13th of November, and it was the 12th today. His friends wanted to celebrate it with him once. Everyone present had prepared birthday presents for Xander. Abigail did not know whether they were expensive or not, but they should have put a lot of thought into it while picking it for Xander.

I give a sigh of relief and try to tell her with a smile how thankful I am for her staying. "My name is Xander and I believe we have gotten off on the wrong foot" He says as he steps through the doorway. I almost want to chuckle at the fact that he has to duck to get in. He really is tall. "I also need to apologize at my own behavior for losing my temper" he says holding my gaze. I simply nod my head at him. I won't say that I forgive him because I was honestly scared for my life. I still am.

"If anyone refuses him, they answer to me. If anyone touches him, they answer to me. If anyone even thinks about making him bleed, I will burn this citadel to the ground and start over." The silence was absolute. Brenda’s mouth opened and closed. "Y-you can’t..." "I can," Xander said. "Because I am the strongest beast in this valley, and I am done being patient." He lifted my hand and kissed my knuckles. Right in front of her. "Come with me," he said. As we walked past her, he leaned in. Just for her to hear. "If you come near him again, Brenda, it won’t be a warning next time."

I asked, resting my elbows on the armrest, a poker expression on my face. “Hello there, Alpha Grumps! Just visiting you.” “Took you so long to finally pay me a visit,” I said, ignoring her mocking me. She laughed heartily before hooking her arm on the arm of the man beside her. I was right. He was Xander. “We came from the Council territory because I officially registered Xander as my Beta. So we decided to drop by.” She turned to Xander and placed her hand on his chest before speaking again. “Xander, this is my hard-headed nephew Zach.”

In a simple bedroom with minimal furniture, Xander can be seen doing push-ups as his body is totally soaked in sweat. He's in very good shape and there's a fierce look in his eyes...... Xander's POV~ It had been a couple of days since I escaped from the hospital and honestly I would've been dead by now had it not been for Amanda. She had come to visit me at the hospital and was told of my disappearance only to find me passed out at an abandoned building not too far from the hospital ( I still don't know how she found me by the way)

"Xander doesn't have any friends when he was growing up.. no! He have friends but doesn't like playing with them.. he's always on his own space. So, one day, he was flying a kite and the kite got stuck in a tree... He climbed to the top... Honestly, up till now, I don't know how he got to the top of the tree..." "How old was he?" I asked. "Six years!" Aunt replies. "... He was able to get the kite but couldn't climb down, he looked down from the tree top and fear grip him.. he hugged a branch and starts calling for help but no one heard him... Luckily I was passing by, then he saw me and yelled my name... I looked up and saw him, I asked him what he was doing there, instead of replying me..
