Xander I knew Bella was very mad after the meeting with Lilian. I wanted to run after her but I'm Xander Rivera. I couldn't be seen running after a woman in the streets. “Besides, how do I explain to her that what she saw was Lil’s personality on a normal Tuesday?” I pondered within myself as I watched Lilian nibble on her burger. Outside the cabin, Xander and his visitor can be seen heading in the direction of the stream. They settled under the shade of the tree while facing the stream. "Bro, what have you done? My gaze strayed down his body and my pulse quickened. He was clad in sweatpants and a tank top that emphasized his long athletic legs, and broad chest. My mouth went dry. This was the first time I was seeing him in something less casual. "When did you get here, Andy?" He asked as he walked closer to us. His gaze flicked towards my direction and I wrenched mine away from his, mentally slapping myself for getting so carried away.

Xander's name was written clearly on the cellphone screen. I hurriedly picked it up and put the cell phone to my left earlobe. Meanwhile, my hands were busy turning down the folk music I was playing. "Hello, Xander?" I said. "Hey, Jonas, what are you doing?" Xander asked in his deep voice. "Study," I said. I heard him click his tongue. "Come on, Jonas, stop for a moment from those boring activities," said Xander. "Stop thinking about chemistry and physics formulas and start thinking about who you are going to take to prom the day after tomorrow!"

The warm water felt great, erasing the dust on my walk through the pack, relieving my aching muscles. After changing into a comfortable cream-colored dress, I stepped out of the bathroom feeling much lighter. When I entered the bedroom, I found Xander sitting near the window. His dark hair was damped from his own shower. He lifted his gaze from the book in his hand. "There you are." I smiled. "What are you reading?" He carried out the heavy hardcover book. "I found this in Father's old library." As I walked over, curiosity sprung to life in me. "It's about the history of Nightmare Pack."
