I frowned in shock. “Do not worry, I still hate you but I don’t mind getting naked with you again.” I shook my head in disbelief. “There will not be a next time,” I said firmly. “We’ll see,” Xena whispered and opened the door for me, not caring if anyone was going to see her naked. “Thank you so much for opening the doors,” she added tauntingly.

Xena exclaimed happily as she could already dream of being marked by him. “No no we can’t, he will only reject us as he has been doing to his past mates, this has to be a mistake. I cannot handle any other rejections” Ashley retorted in fear, shunning the happiness of Xena. Xavier’s wolf Koa, felt the same way Xena did. He was aroused just by setting eyes on her. She looked so beautiful and he couldn’t wait to have her in his hands. Xavier gushed at how inviting her lips were and the glow in her eyes.

He helped me gather my fallen books, flashing a smile before tousling my hair and disappearing into the stacks. "She caught her mate..." Mom hesitated, her voice trailing off before she cleared her throat. "Well... she caught Ryan cheating with her best friend, Fiona," she explained however I only looked at Jaxon. Xena asked herself, "Am I lucky or could this be a dream?" She hit herself to make sure she wasn't dreaming. Xena stood up confidently, she tried to move away but the wolf didn't let her. It wanted her to ride on him, he wanted to assist her, because she was too weak.

He didn't realize she had a wolf when they met the night before. “She's a half-breed," Xerxes, Zeek's wolf stated. That explained a lot, of why she smelt different now. Her wolf had awakened since it was her 18th birthday. “Mate, are you ok?" Meadow asked Zeek. “Oh yes, I'm sorry for spacing out like that," Zeek apologized. “Your voice is beautiful by the way."

Somebody had just contacted me through infrastructure they shouldn't know existed. And that bothered me considerably more than the message itself. A knock sounded against the library door. I already knew who it was. “Come in.” Xena stepped inside. She was on sweatpants and an oversized shirt with her hair partially tied back. No billionaire politics. No social armor. Just Xena.
