Saints Don't Moan

Saints Don't Moan

Slowly lowering the book, she kept her thumb against the spine. “You look surprised,” she said, “Did you think my reading list was strictly limited to theological texts?” “I just didn’t think a nun would be tapped in on such material,” I admitted, leaning against the wooden railing. “Osamu Dazai was a suicidal individual and quite problematic. It’s a beautifully dark book, but heavy.”

Love You As You Are

Love You As You Are

Cody nodded. “So they did that to you?” Indra asks. “I thought that was obvious,” Cody turns to her. “No shit, Sherlock,” Indra grumbles under her breath. “Correct me if I’m wrong,” Ludo spoke up. “The only Masahiro Drug Cartel the world knows is Yakuza,” my eyes widened at that. “The Korean Mafia. I mean, they’re not the top dogs but they’re not exactly on the low either,” Indra bursts out laughing. “It gets worse,” she said in between laughter. “Fucking hell, it gets worse. Why the fuck was I born in this shit?” she said gripping her hair.

Dark obsessions

Dark obsessions

Nikolai The meeting with the Pakhan was a brief one. It was not really a serious matter. The yakuza from Japan is planning to ship some goods from Russia to Japan. Not just any goods though, illegal ones. Like firearms, guns and other stuff. Dimitri arranged a meeting to know if he should be allowed to do that and we agreed after a brief discussion by setting down some benefits of allowing him to ship.

BOUND BY OMERTÀ

BOUND BY OMERTÀ

After Adira had left the office, Iason and I stayed behind to discuss business. It was time to destabilize the Yakuza as best we could—especially given their apparent ties to the Bratva. “One of the Yakuza’s biggest sources of income is the Shinjuku casino,” I began, tracing a path on the map my father left me, the tip of my pen gliding along the paper. “Taking it down won’t be difficult. Their security is loose, and the lieutenant in charge already has a penchant for skimming from his boss.”

The Mafia’s Pregnant Bride

The Mafia’s Pregnant Bride

“A meeting with the Yakuza isn’t ‘nothing important’. When will you ever learn not to lie to me?” I haven’t even done anything yet, and he burst out in tears. “I’m sorry, Mr. Romano. I thought it would be good for business to strike a deal with the Yakuza. Taking the Japanese route would guarantee a smoother sail in shipping the goods, and in turn, I could let them use the casino’s…” I empty my magazine into his empty skull before he can finish his explanation. That one statement is something I never ever like to hear regarding my business. I try to keep out of these locations for good reason; so their implications never affect my legal business.

Konstantin: The Heartless Beta

Konstantin: The Heartless Beta

Andreas introduces me, and this is where they turn around. The Eastern scents now made sense to me; they’re Japanese. The older male steps forward; he looks perfectly polished in an expensive suit, but I can sense a danger about him even as he tries to hide his tattoos: the slicked-back salt and pepper hair, the scars on the side of his face and knuckles. This man is Yakuza; I can tell by the way he tries to shoulder the weapons strapped to him. “Fenriz Vega, it is a pleasure to meet you finally.” He says in perfect English with a faint Kanto accent and steps forward with his arm outstretched. “Tsukishima Kaen.”

That was an terrific series! Thank you for the excellent writing and updates. I read Alpha Kai, Constantine, Nicholas & Dimitri in two days. I'm really looking forward to reading all the different stories about the BloodCrest family saga. :)

I love that the Bratva's storyline is not predictable, makes sense and the caracters act more mature and are not so on the cringy, immature, annoying side (although Lily was pushing it at times) just saying.

Attraction

Attraction

Her eyes were going through the lines of the book she was reading but every now and then she has to focus on words to grasp the meaning. Continuously, her mind was being shifted to somewhere else instead of thr story which those lines entailed. The book, titled, 'Zaryaab' was about an underworld mafia guy who was not just a businessman but also a prominent politician of the country. A dark and quiet aura had succumbed him always on the streets he walk and within his heart, he carried a deep and intense fire that had been burning him for years.

after reading the latest update I guess hatred is going to increase between moosa and roshanay because burhan now has alizeh and is ready to marry her against her will which will enrage moosa and does the man have any idea that he has a sister and she has been through so much all her life....

Even now when I try to read it again, the same excitement doesn’t come back. Maybe the storyline is just not my type — especially the theme of prostitution. It didn’t sit well with me personally. No offense at all, I completely respect the author’s creativity and understand every story is different

The Secret Organization

The Secret Organization

"I felt the creep whenever I came here." I ran my fingers of the spine of each book and then I read the manga's title one by one: "Hanayori Dango", "Harumatsu bokura", "Tsubaki chou planet", "Reimei no Arcana", "Akatsuki no yona". These are all shoujo (romance genre). But there are other sport genre too, like: "Slam dunk", "Haikyuu", "Prince of tennis", "Eyeshield twenty-one", "Kuruko basketball". Fantasies and action genres are available too: "Demon slayer", "Hakuoki", "Bungou stray dogs", "Attack on titans".

I cried my tears out reading the last chapters. I feel like I will miss everyone in this story. But I think author should put more extra chapters. I am curious to what will happen at the other characters

MAFIA RULES

MAFIA RULES

“Here you go,” Niko says holding out an old brown book. Like the mafia rules, there’s nothing written on it, no title, or author's name. not even an abstract design. Just a plain book. At least this one seems to be just an old journal not like the other one Niko described to be bound in human flesh, yuck. The original Mafia rules, not the copy I read but still. I still sniff at it a little. Only smelled old woodsy smell and nothing gross like rotten flesh or skin.

I read this book over a month ago and still can't stop thinking about it! I read it all nonstop in less than 2 days. I couldn't even put it down to go to sleep. The top mafia story I've read so far! I could say much more, but don't want to give anything away to those who haven't read it yet. Love!!!

Claiming Mr. Mafia [ Book 1 ]

Claiming Mr. Mafia [ Book 1 ]

As Sherly sifted through the stack of documents on her desk, her brows furrowed in concentration. Two days had passed since the ball, yet the memory of the mysterious figure who had glared at George lingered in her mind like a haunting specter. She couldn't help but think of that man since she felt that he wasn't simple at all. He is part of the Vile Mafia; she knows it. However, for some reason, according to the information she had, she was part of the Rui Lin Mafia before.
