Yanxi Palace: Princess Adventures Novels & Stories

“Well… from the outside, it looks like any medieval castle. There’s a bridge leading to the gatehouse, which acts as the main guard station. The main building has the ballroom, dining hall, throne room, and the Bastion Alliance chambers. Four towers sit on each corner. My parents took one for themselves, I stayed in the nursery until I was old enough to claim my own rooms. Then there’s a separate guest tower and staff quarters.” “Wow. That’s… a lot,” I said softly. “Life in a palace usually is,” he said with a faint smile. As I flipped through more pages, something caught my eye—a name. “Wait—Tobi, look at this.” He leaned over. “Lilliana and Reade,” I read aloud. “A human princess with a we

"Your Highness," Jazzlyn frantically called out to her mistress who was in the royal library having a look at some books that interested her. Princess Xylia was dressed in a knee-length silver gown without any jewellery adorning her. Her hair was made into two side ponytails. "What is it, Jazzie?" the princess replied to her maid without so much a glance thrown at the latter's way. "It's the king," Jazzlyn responded. At that, Xylia put down the huge brown book that had caught her interest.

The only thing that escaped my lips was a desperate plea: “Kiss me.” It was the last thing I said before slipping into a nightmare, and everything went blank. ************** I woke up in a strange room, my mind hazy and disoriented. “Where am I?” I murmured, blinking as I took in my surroundings. The space was beautiful, almost surreal. It was large and airy, like something out of a luxury hotel or a wealthy estate. The walls were painted a soft cream, decorated with abstract art in shades of gold and deep blue. At the center of the room stood the king-sized bed I was sitting on.

No shifter can heal that quickly, only … She snarls as she rolls and stands up facing me. The power rolling off her makes me shudder. I feel more people enter the room, Stacey included. When Starci laughs manically. I see the tears stream down her cheeks. “I am Princess Serana Bastian. Daughter of Queen Marcia and King Ronan Bastian. I am the last phoenix.” I watch as her palms turn up and red and gold flames dance. She opens her mouth, and a shriek comes out instead of a scream. The shriek of a phoenix.

"Gracias mi querida, mi Reina. You made me proud mi amo. Preparations are underway for the ceremony to welcome our prince. The news has spread and everyone is overjoyed." The next day, we all gathered in the great hall. People are eating and drinking with a carefree attitude. It has been a long time since I witnessed such merriment. Amongst the visitors, there are different supernatural guests. All come to present their gifts and vow their allegiance to us. They are all appraising me as their universal queen. For the first time, I get to see fairies, witches, werewolves, vampires, mermaids, and snake people come together without quarrelling. A smile graces my lips and I feel a certain peace

“My Lady, please don't run too far from us!” Ignoring the screams of the maids and knights who were tasked to guarding her, Ariana walked briskly through the vast surroundings of the palace. Her little feet cut through the large trees that surrounded the palace. Like a princess, Ariana is very familiar with the ins and outs of the palace. She purposely made it difficult for the maid and knights to chase after her, and sneaked to arrive at a large castle hidden in the thick of the trees.

She commented. “What is it?” Woon asked. Not one of them saw Jion’s slight tilting of his head towards the tribe princess and Alminah throwing a silent stare to the young lad before both averted their eyes from each other. “Works of Tolkien from the Capital city.” She smiled to the two royalties as they nodded in recognition. After a while, Princess Sue announced in sing song voice before facing the rest of the royalties. “Here we are.” There werr collective number of maidservants even from the distance and Alminah saw the elegance in everything she laid eyes into. She bet it was part of Princess Sue’s garden.

Even quiet, serious Ethan. "We can take a break," I said. "Sit somewhere quiet. Get some food." "The children—" "The children have been running nonstop for ninety minutes. They could use a break too." I stood up. "Come on. There's a princess meet-and-greet area. Madison's been looking at the signs all morning." The princess pavilion was exactly what it sounds like. A row of small, elaborately decorated stages, each one housing a different princess from different stories. Snow White in her blue and yellow. Cinderella in her ball gown. Belle with her golden dress and her book.

"Your majesty, her highness Princess Yin Xiulan has come." The court lady outside the hall announced loud and clear. "Come in." He answered. The doors of the hall slid open and the princess general walks in with her chin up. Although she's the first princess of the eighth generation of the dynasty, she isn't wearing an elegant and luxurious hanfu nor headgears or headdress made up of expensive materials. Instead, she only wears her usual pink tai chi-fu, and a jade hairpin to keep her long hair into a bun. In her right hand, she holds her closed fan made up of bamboo and rice paper.

SOMA Jade pauses, eyes darting between the princess and me. She nods, giving me one last worried look before leaving the bathroom. My attention shifts to the figure by the door, and I sink lower to keep my breasts hidden. The bath remains warm, but the air grows colder. Sienna Rybak, princess of Shadowspire pack. It’s hard to miss the striking resemblance between her and the three princes. But with her bouncy red hair, she looks more like Kade.
