Apollo studied me for a moment, then said, “You did something important today. You gave her a choice. Whether she takes it or not is up to her.” I bit my lip. “And if she doesn’t?” Apollo leaned back against the couch, gazing at the ceiling. “Then maybe you weren’t meant to change her fate.” His golden eyes flickered toward me. “Maybe you were meant to change your own.” The words settled deep in my chest. Had I been so focused on saving my past self that I forgot about my own redemption? I exhaled, nodding slowly. “One day left,” I murmured. “One day left,” Apollo echoed.

You loved me so unconditionally that even if I died and came back to life another hundred times, I would never be able to reciprocate even a little of what you have given me."

“But that is not who you are.” I stiffened. “What do you mean?” He crouched before me, eyes glinting. “You are Nyira. Do you know what that means?” I shook my head. “It means savior,” he said simply. “The one chosen to heal what has been broken. The name belongs to legends older than packs, older than crowns. And when I look at you, I see her shadow reborn.” My throat tightened. “I’m no savior. I’ve made too many mistakes…”
