The Villain I woke up with a crick in my neck and an attitude. I slept horribly last night and it was partially because of the news of my new mate, my confrontation with Maya and then explaining why Maya was moping around more than usual to Garret and a falsely sympathetic Gia.

I'd rather it been sooner than later. Alpha Evan slowed down as we neared a gated fence. The guard on duty stood to attention, almost as if he'd been waiting for us to arrive and hurriedly opened the doors. A cobblestone pathway lead to a circular driveway in front of which stood a larger than life Victorian style villa, painted an off white, giving it a royal look. The previous Alpha had definitely been loaded if this was their pack house. "Here we are," Alpha Evan muttered, giving me a sidelong glance.

I walked gently downwards , my hands held onto the trigger of my gun ready to shoot if confronted by the enemy. As I walked closer the house became more visible. The house was made with wood and the roof made of Albestos. It looked like the shack of the serial killers in the horror movie ; WRONG TURN. I saw Zarvier's black SUV truck parked outside the shack, this confirmed my suspicion, yes, this is it.

I turned my back on her, grabbing a pair of boxer briefs from my drawer and yanking them on, my skin crawling with the need to scrub the entire night off of me.

"Exactly. Everyone in this circle knows Vanessa is Leo's most devoted lapdog. She obviously loves Leo the most!" Just when everyone thought the question was far too simple, I slowly shook my head. "No. He isn't here." The room fell into stunned silence. Even Leonardo, who usually couldn't care less about me, had his face turn sour immediately. As for me, having finally spoken my truth, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders. The masquerade was finally over. I grabbed my bag and turned to leave. I just wanted this absurd farce of mistaking the wrong person to end as soon as possible.

The maid had taken the wrong one somehow. A letter from Theo was already on its way out of the estate to Andre in what was the stupidest mistake she could ever dream of.

She wanted the title clearly stated that she was no longer Ms Stone but Ms Edison.
