In the other hand, he held a smaller pink plastic egg. He pushed a button on the smaller egg, and the dangling egg buzzed again. Jessi looked from the pink egg to Judd, and back again. "We're going to have some fun tonight. This," he held up the dangling egg, "is going to dinner with us."

The chandelier which had fallen last night was gone. A single chain marking where it had been. Chunks of the ceiling were missing and the wind rustles plastic sheets covering the damage.
