Young Adult Books Fantasy Romance Novels & Stories

Stopped. Walked in. A kid, maybe twenty, stood behind the counter, staring at his phone. "Do you have books for teenagers?" He looked up. "Like, Young Adult?" "I don't know. Sixteen-year-olds." "Yeah. YA section's in the back." I walked to the back. Found shelves labeled Young Adult Fiction. Pulled out a book at random. Read the back. Something about dragons. Shoved it back in. Pulled out another. Read the back.

Fancy handwriting on expensive paper. "To educate you on your new archetype." What the hell? I looked at all the books again. And it hit me. These were all stories about girls who got taken. Girls who fell for their captors. Beauty trapped in the Beast's castle. Jane Eyre with creepy Rochester. Christine with the Phantom. He thinks I'm going to fall in love with him. He actually thinks this is some kind of love story. "You're insane!" I yelled throwing the book across the floor. "I'm not a character in your sick fantasy!"

I am as exciting and predictable as a loaf of sliced white bread. Anyway, back to my story. The traffic started moving, and off he went, leaving behind the lingering scent of tobacco. At work, I had trouble concentrating, and spent most of the day creating racy vignettes in my head with us as the feature characters. Let's be honest; I have a very vivid imagination. The closest I've been to a hot steamy encounter is courtesy of the pages of my endless supply of paperback romance novels. I'm not the kind of girl that attracts hot, sexy men. In fact, I've been called an ice queen by more than one guy. But when I'm in the middle of one of my books, I am sensual, daring, sarcastically humorous, a

Rumpled- Book 1 of The Steamy Fairytale Collection Eighteen years ago, when Rian, the greatest elf lender, was banished for asking for his payment—the young princess promised to him, he sought shelter in an old, dank castle. Filled with hate and resentment, his heart darkened with malice. But when a simple maiden, Ciara, asks for a warm bed and a hot meal, his once dark heart and other unmentionables twitch in desire once he realizes that she is his promised princess. As punishment for the kingdom’s ostracizing, Rian imprisons her, his only drive, to satisfy Ciara beyond her imaginations till she desires him… in return.

he interrupted. “Stop following me Jax,” I commanded establishing my authority changing the conversation because at the end of the day he was just a massive fan of mine. “No, I want recommendations on books, preferably the slow burns with two people trying to fight their connection when they were soulmates from the moment they met but they were blind.” I know what he was doing. He was trying to describe our romance but ours was a tragedy, not a romance in my books anyway. I huffed annoyed and played his game, by saying “I would recommend Birthday Girl by Penelo-“

So basically, the places in this book are made up even though the book is nothing like fantasy, it's just your average billionaire erotic BDSM romance involving a Billionaire, obviously and a naive little do gooder woman who thought she was all that, so don't go looking for my made up places okay sweeties? Okay that's done! Get ready for a slow burn and watch Rachel Rivers lose her head. Let's get into this story that I am so glad to share!!

*chortles* Will the twins have their own book? -No. They will stay kids in your imagination. Will Hrista & Andrew have their own book? -Yes. Their book is part of the contemporary romantasy series I’m building. Which means this book is a side story of that series. It wasn’t the plan at first, this was planned to be a stand alone book, but midway I fell in love with the characters of this book & decided to connect them to the universe of this beloved series. I have big dreams for this series & I want this book to be part of it. Meaning, some of the scenes may relate to that.

The moonlight shining down on the pages illuminated the words in a way that made them seem to come alive. Without thinking, Verena sat down in the nook by the window and used the full moon as her light. She began to read from the book. "Seriona," she read the name written as the title of the first chapter. The story was captivating, and she was drawn in by the tale of werewolves. It was about a pack, led by their king, Lucas, who were cursed by a powerful witch named Seriona to only be alive inside the book. They were inside their own world where they could no longer harm humans, and the world was called Lunaria. The tale sent shivers down her spine; it was so wonderfully written, and the em

Without exception. My breath hitched, my chest tightening as I turned another page, then another, my hope fraying with each passing second. There had to be something, a loophole, a forgotten decree, a single damn instance where a princess had chosen love over duty. But the books offered only cold, unyielding tradition. A curse slipped from my lips, low and venomous. The thought of that old King's hands on me, his breath sour with wine, his body pressing mine into the marital bed, made my stomach twist. I’d rather throw myself from the highest tower than let that man touch me.
