That was a beautiful forced smile. Kill me he has the British accent. " Okay let me show you around Lee. " I say. " can I call you Lee ? " I ask " Yeah sure " He says awkwardly. " Lets go then " I say and move to the door to open it. I could hear him so I know he was right behind me. I turn abruptly and I gasp as I am faced with his broad chest, few feet's away from my head. He is towering above me with I think a 6'4 or a 6'3. His chocolate brown hair is falling out of his beanie in beautiful curls.

Who does he think he is? "I hate it," he began in a dead tone, "when you raise your voice and swear. I don't want to repeat myself, Nastassia." My jaw dropped to the floor, "excuse me? Who here just found out that they're engaged to their Godfather? Who here just found out that that they're getting married to some fuc-!" I let out a shocked gasp for air as Octavious suddenly wrapped his hand around the back of my neck and pulled my body to his with such speed and strength, that in a millisecond my face was a half inch from his as he gave me a sharp look.

—the only authentic New York-style pizza joint in the subterranean city of Sanctuary—I had my wish. Leo was sitting across from me. But he wasn't the seven-year-old boy I had sent into the Star. He was seventeen. Maybe eighteen. Physically, he was a masterpiece of biology and magic. He was tall, leaning across the table with the casual grace of a predator. His shoulders were broad, filling out the flannel shirt Damian had lent him. His hands—hands I used to hold while crossing the street— were now large enough to crush the soda can he was holding.

I didn't know what I was expecting but when Dominic opened the laptop and showed me a mug shot, my eyes widened. He looked to be in his late twenties, sporting a dark buzz cut and a neatly trimmed beard. He had a black eyebrow piercing and I could see the tattoos sneaking up his neck stopping just below his jawline. Lucas was smirking with his head tilted up slightly, almost mockingly and that alone told me the man feared no one. "Holy shit, he's fine." I blurted without thinking. The laptop was slammed closed and I jumped. Yurik let out a loud laugh and shook his head.

He immediately shouted, “What are you up to now, young man?” “Grandpa, you take your time and have a good chat.” Leonardo DiCaprio stretched out his right hand and placed it against his temple to give a military salute. He then politely nodded his head to Andrew Scott, Karin's Dad and Laila and Moon's adoptive Dad. Old man Jason, who had taken Custody of Leo since a young age knew that Leonardo DiCaprio had left for a task, and all he could do was worry. Just then, Crystalbella’s mobile phone rang. She nodded twice in agreement after picking up the phone, then stood up.

“You’ve been up all night. Want some calming soup? I’ll make it for you.” My gentle concern seemed to soothe him. His expression softened. “Leo is coming to Chicago later. He said he has a surprise for you. I’ll take you to see him.” Leo. My brother. The youngest district attorney in New York history, but ruthless enough to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Orion. He pulled a pink diamond necklace from his pocket, moved my hair aside, and fastened it around my neck. “You’re a De Luca princess. If your brother sees you without any decent jewelry, he’ll think I’m mistreating you.”

“Oh, but the best things in life are forbidden, aren’t they?” I shake my head and chuckle. “Keep that up and Liam might just chop off your head and have it auctioned off tonight.” “It'd be worth it, wouldn't it?“ Leo grins. “I'd die a happy man if I could get a taste of those lips.” Okay, this is the part where I walk away. “Go back to your date, Leonardo DiCaprio.” I turn away from him and go to take my seat. Liam comes back just in time and tells me Lucas and Sabrina won't be coming today. He says Lucas is down with some stomach bug and Sabrina’s staying home to take care of him.

Unable to do anything, he left with anger. Back in the Hamilton mansion, Grace found out about the accident. "What? My Leo is got into an accident? How is he? When is he coming back?" Grace demanded Mike. Leo is a very rich and powerful man. He was listed as one of the richest men in the country. He shoved his hands into his pockets and waited for the firm footsteps they could hear walking on the marble tile. He knew what she wanted and he was not ready for that talk. At least not until he had avenged his father and made all their enemies pay for their sins. Yuri appeared at the door of the sunroom. He was carrying his brown briefcase. "It's good to see you back, Sir," Yuri said to Dominic as he eased into the room. "Good to be back Yuri." the man was not as young as he'd been four years ago, but under his guidance, the family had continued to gain more power and money.

He looks at Evelyn who nodded, giving him a gentle smile. “I’ll protect you,” he said. “I swear it. As long as I breathe, I'm going to keep the two of you safe.” The memory flickered. Shifted. A fire. Screams. Kael on the ground, blood seeping from a wound in his side. A younger Damon, barely a toddler, crying somewhere in the distance. And then him. Giovanni. He stood above Kael with a sneer.
