My thumb hovered over the green icon. Not yet. Not until I knew what I was walking into. The call ended. A second later, a message appeared. Call me. It’s urgent.

My thumb hovers over the call button as the twins watch me expectantly. What if she says no? What if she gets mad that I even asked? But I have to try. For them. I press the button, and the phone rings. Once. Twice. And then she answers. “Xarion?”

Just then she hears her phone ringing and she opened her bag to check only to see that the person calling her is right beside her. “One...” Black said as the phone continues to ring. Daphne picked up on the second ring and forced a smile “Yes second ring” she said. Her eyes darted to Black’s phone and she saw that her number was saved with “The arranged bride”

“Understood. Waiting for your call.” The line went dead, and I immediately dialed the next number. Another contact. Another voice that greeted me with wary curiosity. Each call went the same way: I asked, they agreed. Money talked, and I had more than enough to keep people listening. By the time I hung up the last call, my heart was thundering. The pieces were moving.

When they were on their way, the second prince’s phone started ringing and he took it. “Second royal brother, where are you?” an anxious voice sounded on the other side. “I am on my way back home. Why are you calling me with my mysterious contact instead of the one that everyone knows,” the second prince asked his brother with a frown. “Cause we can’t you through it. It says that the number doesn’t exist,” the person on the other side said making the second prince frown as he took his other phone in his pocket. He tried switching on the phone but it was completely black making his face turn ugly.
