Her silver-white fur shimmered faintly, her presence steady and calm as her eyes met mine, and this time, there was no hesitation in me, no uncertainty, only recognition and something deeper, something that felt like relief.
“You are here,” I said softly.
“Have always been here,” she replied, her voice echoing through me, not just in my mind, but somewhere deeper.
“What's your name.” I asked.
“Selene.” My wolf answered, such a nice name.
I stepped closer to her without thinking, my movements slower this time, more certain, “Selunara said I have to accept you,” I murmured, though even as I said it, I realized how incomplete that sounded.
