If I take out one, the other will attack me so the only sensible option is to turn the situation in my favor by making my enemies attack each. Yes! That's it! Mustering all my courage, I swiftly catch the snake by the head and it hisses and wriggles in my grasp. I unwrap it from my leg and pause. As soon as the scouts are only a foot away from me, I throw the snake at them.

Xyla asked Grace, who was now frozen on the door. “You… you can’t do this. You better not let them take a shape, or else you will never know how you die,” Grace screamed again and lunged inside, but the second painful scream made her cough blood. The second wave of gasps coming from everywhere made me look at the dining table, and my eyeballs almost popped out of their sockets.

I stared into Zack's eyes, making sure he heard every word. "You lost me once?" His tears rolled down his cheeks and into the palm of my hand. "Yes, I lost you once. I looked at Zack in shock. "So you were reborn too?"

Page after page of the Grimoire opened by itself, the pages moving quickly as if enchanted. Even more frightening was the dark mist that appeared with the opening of the Grimoire. "Congratulations, Luna. You have reached the end of the game," the familiar voice echoed. It came from the Grimoire, the voice of the seventh reincarnation that had previously inhabited Rafe's body. "So this is what he's after?" I muttered to myself. I had wondered why the werewolf man had stopped appearing, and now I had the answer. He was preparing this evil plan.

Noah heard the shower start a moment later. He pulled out a pair of sweatpants and an old t shirt from his dresser, setting them on the bed. Then he grabbed his own clothes and quickly got dressed. His phone buzzed with messages from his father, but he ignored them. He needed time to think. To figure out what the hell was going on. Yuna was a kitsune. Roman voiced, but I didn't bother to look at him before I left the building. I drove directly to Kam's kingdom. It looked sarcastical especially when I was saying something serious.

I didn't know what to say or what to ask as her words didn't make any sense to me. "Uhm..." I scratched the back of my head. "Are you lost in our garden? I can show you the way out." She stepped closer and grabbed my hands, which made my whole face blush. But my embarrassment immediately turned to worry when she started to cry. "Dyrroth, I only got seven souls. I needed three more, and I couldn't do it. I don't know if I could continue doing it... I feel horrible... And that demon is going to return tomorrow... I don't know what to do!"
