His touch ignited more sparks, sparks that demanded his lips against mine and needed him deep inside of me, but they also seemed to bring a certain coolness with them, soothing every inch of me that he touched. I lifted my hand to the side of his face and he studied my movements but didn’t stop me, my hand could feel his cold sparks drift through it, and for a brief moment, I felt relief. I needed Xander and Wyatt here, they would wrap around me and subdue this heat. “Where are Xander and Wyatt… I need them,” I barely got out before the heat started to rise back up inside of me. “They can’t be here Brianna… they can’t resist you,” his voice sounded pained, “they’ll mate and mark you.”

“He was so hot. Tall, broad, and had this energy. [Briar’s POV] I remain in place, staring around, taking in the space that looks almost unlived in while my savior, or possibly my downfall, heads toward the kitchen and grabs a beer. “Want one?” He asks, peeking at me over my shoulder. “Or do you intend to just stand there looking like a statue?” “I…” I begin, wondering if that was a rhetorical question. “I’ll have one.” “Atta girl,” the man chuckles, moving toward me and passing me a bottle of some cheap beer that probably tastes like the toilet water at a frat house. “Sorry it isn’t fancy, but this is all I got.”

Yuri looked down, ashamed by her childish words. “Don’t feel bad about that. I have been where you are, hell, I’m going through it right now. Tomorrow morning at 6:00 am in the auditorium. Be ready to work.” Bri said. “Thank you! I’m gona learn from a pro!” Yuri smiled, and skipped off. Briar thought Yuri was cute. On to her A problem. Briar glanced at her truck and saw a hooded figure lingering by the back of the truck. “What are these people on here? I sure hope I didn’t get the crazy on me.” She said as she walked to her truck to meet her Stalker. Funny thing about stalkers, they usually prefer to remain anonymous. Why was hers so damaged?
