When the Fool Heals the Mafia

When the Fool Heals the Mafia

A girl with sharp eyes and sugar-coated lies. But she hadn’t lied tonight. Not when it mattered. Zogo slowly slid down the wall, sitting on the cold stairwell step as the air pressed around him. His head dropped forward, eyes still locked on the page in his hands like it could vanish if he blinked. How the hell had he missed it?

MATED TO BLOODHOUND

MATED TO BLOODHOUND

Wolfsbane could only mask it for so long… “You LIED TO ME!” Jayden erupted like thunder. His wolf surged forward, claws ripping out of his skin, bones snapping violently mid-scream. Whenever an Alpha was roused like that, only one thing followed — chaos, destruction, a bloodbath… Just then, a thought crossed me. Why could I still see these things when I was dead? --- My eyes peeled open to a seemingly soundless world, bright light piercing into my brain… “Zoe!”

Trapped In Erevos; A Game Of No Return

Trapped In Erevos; A Game Of No Return

“Relax, sweetheart. Name’s Nova. You were out cold for almost an hour. Thought you weren’t gonna make it.” I sat up fast, head spinning. “Where the hell am I? What is this place?” Nova raised a brow. “You really don’t remember anything, huh?” I frowned. “Last thing I remember, I got pushed off a fucking cliff. You telling me I’m not dead?” That made a few boys nearby glance at me. One of them snorted. “We all thought that, dude.” Nova sighed, crouching beside me. “Welcome to Zone 1 , darling. The Playground of the Damned.”

Where Zombies Walk (Book 1 Kendra's Journey)

Where Zombies Walk (Book 1 Kendra's Journey)

They’d even taken the precaution of arranging for a wet nurse in case she didn’t survive the process. At first, Kendra didn’t understand why they were so eager for the zombie cure, since they clearly lived in a world apart from the one she’d grown up in. Then, one day an alarm was raised to announce the fact that a zombie had wandered into the village. This was her first clue that, although there was a cloak to hide the visibility of the entrance/exit of the village, it didn’t seal it. Zombies – or humans – could find themselves inside the village without knowing how they got there.

ZUBA: Tragedies of a Vampire Princess

ZUBA: Tragedies of a Vampire Princess

The two were from the noble families of the kingdom of Borney, therefore in contention to mate the princess. Their families led the search for the missing princess. They instigated the love wars of the islands, and with suspicion they watched their backs to see who could betray the other between themselves. The other nobles had given up on her. Apparently, they accused her of letting down the traditions of the land when she needed to uphold them. They felt insulted for falling for the mysterious stranger instead of them. Princess Zuba was now in the strong arms of a werewolf stranger. “Hold on; come here”, said Jason, holding her tight. He bit her side neck with his fangs and hugged her a co

Midwinter Town: A Novella

Midwinter Town: A Novella

Basira stood before him in the same way, till at last she cried out, “A second confusion!” Zastar, greatly amused, blinked some time with his sound eye; at length ho said, “Sir Novoveski, a friend and subordinate of our Geswer, and this is Lady Ladder. Tfu! I wanted to say Yezorkoy.” Sir Adam recovered readily; and because lie was a soldier of quick wit, though young, he bowed, and raising his eyes to the wonderful vision, said, “As God lives! Roses bloom on the snow in Ketling's garden.”

My Zombie Girlfriend

My Zombie Girlfriend

Todd didn't want that. "Back to the report, please" Todd heaved a sigh of relief as Karl opened back the notes. "So, what is going to happen to the bitten" Karl sought answers again. "Have you ever watched a zombie movie?" Todd tried explaining in the easiest way he thought Karl would understand. "Are you saying they will become zombies?" Karl asked excitingly. "Yeah, more like that" Todd hoped he had satisfied him. "How are we going to know you are not lying" Karl asked ridiculously. Todd was maddened.

The Alpha's Cursed Mate

The Alpha's Cursed Mate

Kill. Zinnia growled viciously at them, blood-like saliva seeping out of her mouth. “Kill them all!!!” She leapt away from the wolf on the ground and attacked those with an unrecognisable scent. She could easily tell the wolves apart and revelled in the pleasure of their blood splattering on the ground and over her body. The wolves had no chance, they lost their lives before they could prevent their doom. Zinnia swept through the Lúa Infinita like a plague. The ground soon became a tsunami of decapitated corpses, bodies missing their hearts or killed in different ways. She was a force that couldn't be reckoned with or stopped.

Sapphire is bold, especially for someone who grew up in the kind of surrounding she was born in. However, I think she's a bit selfish. She's always quick to make decisions that she believed is best for everyone, unconsciously acting on what's best for her. She should learn to think on her own.

I'm enjoying it so far. I just feel bad for Sapphire. She has to find out how to break her curse but her mother left no clue because she's trying to "protect" her. Isn't the best way to protect someone is to tell them everything? Not just a quarter of the truth.
