Now, she was a woman—with fuller curves, heavier breasts, and a waist so tiny it could tempt even the most controlled of men. Aren looked a little disappointed at first, but he still picked up his phone without hesitation. Since Zac hadn't committed any major crimes, arranging a visit wasn't all that difficult. Soon after, Aspen sat across from Zac, separated by a pane of glass. She leaned back in her chair, arms folded, smirking slightly as she studied him. Even though it had only been a few weeks, Zac looked like a completely different person. He had lost weight, and all the arrogance in his eyes had been replaced by exhaustion and a pathetic sense of defeat.

Zoe's limbs stretched and reformed, muscles rippling beneath skin that now bore intricate silver markings like ancient runes. Her hair turned pure white as starlight, and when she finally completed the partial shift, she looked like something born from legend. She still maintained her human form, but everything about her screamed predator. The markings covering her arms pulsed with inner light, and power rolled off her in waves that made every wolf instinct scream either submit or flee.
