The old man teased before shrugging with a harmless expression, and hinted, “Don’t you often have things that you didn’t walk in with?” Zelda slumped despondently onto one of the empty couches and closed her eyes. Moments later, she suddenly sat upright, her eyes flying open. Her gaze narrowed at the old man for a full minute before rushing over and dragging him out. Once outside everyone’s earshot, she asked with urgency, “The soul replenishing bead… give me six.” She extended her hand looking nothing like the ethereal dignified goddess and more like a rogue. Cornelius’s eyes widened as he looked at the scene in front of him. He couldn’t help himself, he forgot he was the dignified supreme

The drawings were brimming with a sense of missing someone and saying goodbye. Madeline ran her fingers over the sketch and murmured, "You're really good at this." Jazzy sat back down quietly. Madeline thought for a second, then asked for a piece of paper. She started sketching quickly, and soon, there was Jazzy, standing on the tree with her arms wide open. However, Madeline added angel wings to her. Jazzy looked at it, stunned, then said in a low voice, "That's not right."

He insists it is a whale. Our afternoons become simple and lazy. We take naps and read books. We eat a lot of fresh frut that’s always in plentiful supply. I sketch on the lanai, trying to capture the majesty of this place. Scott dozes in the shade and opens one eye every now and then to tell me I am beautiful when I am frowning at a line.

Realizing she was being teased, Zelda's face turned as red as a sunset, and she ran away, calling out, "You're so mean!" But soon she returned, her eyes sparkling, "I do like Alger." After admitting it shyly, she ran off again. Adelaide couldn't help but laugh. Her cedar pheromones carried a playful hint. However, she still needed to clarify things and asked Paisley to bring Zelda back. Adelaide's wolf lightly hummed in her mind, curious about Zelda's shyness. Once Paisley escorted Zelda back and seated her, the tips of Zelda's ears were slightly red, and her pheromones carried a nervous tang.

‘…are a part of our soul? Shaking my head, I flipped to another page and started sketching again. I sketched the forest but not where I was sitting. The one from my dream. The giant rock that was in the clearing further away, the different trees they had and how spaced they were. The ground being covered in a light mossy grass. I worked on the sketch for a while, getting the details right without adding the two little wolves and the one inflicting the pain. ‘Hey, Ethan. It’s been a couple hours and your mom and dad are here.’

She was holding her canvas as she peeked on her friends’ works. Tyr’s lips subtly curled up at the praise before looking at Zane, waiting for his class partner to reveal his own work. “Zane, look! Even Zeev is good in drawing. He drew me as an enchanted forest.” Keira chuckled. “You can pass as a fairy, to be fair.” Zeev proudly stated. The lady jokingly hissed at his remark before excitedly stood beside Zane to see his. “Woah…” At her reaction, the guys looked at her expectantly.

"Well, he can kiss my furry butt. I am not doing anything until at least tomorrow..." She then disappears again. I open my eyes and smile as I look into Zachariah's eyes. He looks at me confused as he asks, "What's the smile for?" "If you thought I had fire, fight and stubbornness, then you are going to love Zelda... She says she is sleeping and will not be doing anything until at least tomorrow..." I jump and step back as Zachariah growls, "Zelda... Front and centre now..." I feel her lift her wolf's head and sneeze as she then seems to join her voice with mine,

Zelda stared at me, her eyes wide with a mixture of surprise and concern. "Why did you jump directly from the second floor!" I reached her, putting my arm around her waist. "Didn't you ask me to come here?" She had, but not by such a dramatic route. Zelda glanced at my long legs, then shrugged, giving up on her protest. "Come here," she said, pulling me into the pavilion and handing me a pair of scissors. She stood beside a red pillar, marked with her height measurements from childhood to adulthood. "James, can you help me fill in this last line of height now?" she asked, her smile bright and expectant.
