The Dark Truth

The Dark Truth

Unknowingly, my nerve cells started to respond to the circumstances. The two of them didn't seem to notice that there was someone else besides them as they were lost in their world. They appeared to be close friends and both of them were radiating in the room. One was blessed with light brown pastel coloured eyes which seemed as sweet as sugar and the other one was blessed with black coloured eyes which seemed as deep as the sea.

LIGHT AFTER DARK

LIGHT AFTER DARK

I’d sooner sleep under a bridge for the rest of my life! Brilliant dark eyes raked over her impassively. “Alrighty then... Go now, I have nothing more to say to you.” “Oh, but I do! I’m not finished yet,” Lara asserted with venom. “Three years ago, you came into my life like a dark shadow and you tried to destroy it. There is no human being alive whom I hate more than you! And why did you set out to wreck my life? Out of nothing more than arrogant vanity, selfishness, and lust. It didn’t matter to you that I was engaged to another man or that I loved that man. It didn’t matter that you might hurt him as much as you hurt me.”

so im not sure if I have given reviews to all your books but letting you know that you have always been consistent with how you work your magic with your books. I think I said it on anither review, ill say it again, short novels are your forte and talent. you just know how to write them.

Emma, ive read MOST of your books posted on this app. Its short, but very precise, character development wise for the leads, it was very good. Some chapters have amazing cliff hangers you wouldnt want to miss. Def every penny spent on this app is worth it reading your books. Keep it up!

Light & Darkness: Book 4

Light & Darkness: Book 4

And this is how the last story about Light and Darkness that I wanted to present to you ends. It was certainly an extraordinary journey, showing different stories, but at the same time touching the same topic - can two such opposing poles as Light and Darkness connect at some point? I'll leave it to your own choice, but one thing is for sure - as Miyuki said in Book 4, wanting to stop the battle between vampires and wizards - Light and Darkness certainly couldn't exist without each other. If there was only Light but no Darkness, what would be its meaning? Likewise, if there was only Darkness in the world, wouldn't its existence be pointless without trying to "devour" the Light?

In The Dark

In The Dark

~This is a two part book. This is Eve's story.~ I was just getting back from my last class of the semester and I wandered into my apartment to look for something to eat. It was after 9 at night and my roommate Violet was out with her boyfriend. I saw a huge pile of mail on the counter and began to pick through it while I waited on my frozen dinner in the microwave.

Another good story by this author! I do wish there was a little more at the end because it did feel a little rushed. But other than that, I truly enjoyed reading this story. I highly recommend both stories by this author! They’re very detailed, flow perfectly, and keep you wanting more. Awesome job!

Literally one of the best books on this app. This is one of those few books that I could actually read again! Totally unique plot. You think it’s going in a certain direction and then it switches up keeping you interested. Total page turner. And FANTASTIC/SEXY love story!

The Vault of Sin

The Vault of Sin

I turned to the very last page—the one my father-in-law had been writing the day he died. The page was blank, except for a single, trembling line of ink at the top. The Weaver knows the code. The Architecture is the Grave. I closed the book, the sound of the leather snapping shut like a gunshot in the quiet car. The "Day-by-Day" was gone. We were into the "Night-by-Night" now. And as the Suburban hit the open highway, the speedometer climbing toward ninety, I realized that the 300,000 words of our story were only just beginning to get darker. And as the grey Chicago rain began to lash against the windows once again—no, as the black North Woods ice began to coat our path—I realized that I was

And as the clock on the wall clicks toward midnight, I realize that this is how the rest of my life will be. The book is closed. The lights are out and I am left in the dark. THE END

RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE EX-HUSBAND CHASED ME BACK

RUTHLESS BILLIONAIRE EX-HUSBAND CHASED ME BACK

In the sudden darkness, Sister Marguerite's voice rang out: *"Subject D-1 through D-27 were all terminated for disobedience." D-30's head snapped toward her. The nun stood silhouetted in the moonlight, her bloodied wimple unraveling. "You're not the upgrade, boy. You're the warning." Jeff's flashlight clicked on, illuminating the brand on D-30's wrist—not XXIX or XXX. *D-0.* The original. The world narrowed to three things: the knife in my hand, the pulse fluttering in D-0's throat, and Jeff's warm presence at my back.

The Secrets of the Bad Boy

The Secrets of the Bad Boy

he points at her with his chin, expressionless, “didn't you want to join our group? There is the proof.” I swallow a bitter breath when I reach for it and study it, without a doubt it is the same bracelet that the Zanni subjects had. “Why black?” “I really don't know.” He dives into the pages of his new book of the week and surprisingly it is not the one he read yesterday. Had I already finished it? For sure yes. His title was somewhat ironic; The Darkest Book of Cheap Poetry.
