Romans & histoires Zodiac Academy 5

Pour moon water on it. I started to hum a song as I patted his head. Nova came to my side. Aya, her axolotl, looked curious. You’re so good to him, and they thought humans couldn’t have a familiar. Nova, can you keep a secret? I’m your best friend, Zadira, yes, of course. Swear you’ll never betray me? I’m in love and scared… the words just came out. It’s dangerous if anyone finds out. The academy has rules about students and…, if they discover it, it could get me expelled or worse.

"Spare me your bullshit! If you want to disqualify Caleb as a representative and deny him entry into the secret realm, I will fight you even if it means my death! Come on already!" His aura then erupted once again with the full power of a Scion rank one, and he was clearly on the edge and ready to kill! Just another word that rubbed him the wrong way, and it was a deadly melee! Murin did the same, bellowing, "That's right! If you are all insisting on harassing Zoronda, then we will take a large bite out of you even if it kills us!" As he finished, the elders of Zoro Academy suddenly appeared behind them, each of them Ether Lord rank ten!

And my wolf wouldn’t let me forget it. I stormed toward the Assembly Hall, my boots echoing on the stone floor, determined to keep Val close—and under control. The hall was packed, students buzzing as Headmaster Rin stepped onto the dais, his silver hair glinting under the chandeliers. “The Hunter’s Moon Trial approaches,” he announced, his voice booming. “An elite test of strength and strategy. Only the best will lead—and survive.” My chest swelled. I was Rank 95, the academy’s golden boy, born for this. But my eyes flicked to Val, slouched in the back, his blue eyes wary. He was Rank 24, barely clinging to Gamma Tier, yet he kept defying the odds.

“At least I know I have someone competent in the group.” I felt a sense of pride swell within me as she immediately started to show me what was needed, and while the old nurse seemed pleased as punch with my progress, she still seemed a bit stress. “We have a few hours before pack leaders start filing in for the meds,” she sighed, and I felt my heart jump. “All the packs?” I asked. “Well, not all the alphas or reps will be here,” she said. “I know that the Blood Moon representative will be here for his and the Silver Moons.”

Silvia dashed towards Hunter who jumped over shifting into his wolf form as he attacked Armando who also shifted as both the wolves collided. Rachael tried to use her magic on Hunter but Silvia had enough. Using her magic she raised Rachael in the air and choked her as the girl struggled for breath. A wolf tried to attack her but Lennox plunged at him, taking him down and ripping his flesh with his canines. Silvia moved closer to the struggling Rachael as she looked her in the eyes. "Hunter is only mine," Silvia sneered coldly in her ears as she choked Rachael to death using her magic.

The eclipse shone bright, we could slowly see the moon becoming redder by the minute. Zander stared into my eyes as he spoke. "I, Zander Damon Knight, Alpha of Wolf's Pond pack, take you, Hazel Fiona Valentine, to be my mate and my Luna. I promise to love, honour and cherish you always and forever." Zander's voice rang through the sea of wolves. It was husky and sexy.

The Kade boys all shared the same dark hair and olive skin tone from their mother, but Johnny was the only one to inherit his father's silver orbs. "You look like shit." Johnny announced as he collapsed into a chair unceremoniously. "Are you ever going to sleep?" "I'll sleep when I'm dead." Lucas grumbled, finding a few shreds of his sense of humour under his exhaustion. "You're also looking at the interim Alpha of this pack." Johnny's eyebrows shot up to his hairline before he burst out laughing. "You poor bastard." "I wouldn't laugh if I were you." Lucas smirked. "You're my interim Beta."

His hair was white as bone, his voice a low rasp that carried to every corner. “Nicole Jackson. Once Luna. Once heir. Once exile.” The words landed like stones. My throat tightened, but I forced myself to lift my chin. “You stand accused of betrayal. Of desertion. Of consorting with enemies of the Blood Moon Pack.” Gasps hissed from the wolves above. The accusation struck like a lash, even though I’d expected it. Even though I’d lived with it since the night they left me to die. I opened my mouth, but Kael’s hand sliced the air.

He blandly said, "Come to think of it, why would they erect their school in the periphery where the vicious beasts run rampant? If they wanted an independent land where their academy would be the only ruler, why didn't they choose the other areas where the vicious beasts were less than where they were at? Furthermore, they even successfully built a stronghold that was difficult to break into. There was a beast tide every fifty years, and yet nothing bad had happened to the academy. Why was that so?" Minerva's expression suddenly changed upon hearing what Sora said. Beast tide? There was a beast tide every fifty years or so in there. "The next beast tide will occur three years from now." Sora

“Unlucky draw for the dragon, then.” “What if he rages over our selection and takes it out on everyone?” “He won’t.” The kind seemed confident in his answer, though Nya had no idea how he could tell what a wild beast might do. “What if he does?” Zar turned and looked her straight in the eyes then. “He won’t. It is the girl. Her fate is sealed. Please… don’t, Nya. We can’t do this every year.”
