Putting on my black high heels I give myself a last check before heading downstairs as I hear the first cars arriving. Arriving quietly behind my parents as they welcome the first couple – Alpha Zachary and Luna Rachel from the Blood Moon Pack, I step beside my father in time to shake Alpha Zachary’s and Luna Rachel’s hands. My mother and father give me a stern look, acknowledging my close to late arrival. I smile and continue with some small talk with Luna Rachel as Alpha Jackson continues speaking with Alpha Zachary and his Beta Sam. Luna Rachel is a beautiful woman. They look at each other, and we can see they are mindlinking, but then they look at us and smile. “That sounds perfect,” Ryder says, and we sit on the couches. “Would you tell us about your first mate?” Nadia asks Parker softly, and he nods his head. “Her name is Zoey.
