My diary of dirty secrets

My diary of dirty secrets

Mia's POV I lock up the door of this old, abandoned house. Running for days because of the zombie outbreak. I find a room with bars on the windows. It looks safe, but then I hear a noise. Zeke stumbles in from the closet. He was bitten last week. His skin is gray and peeling; pus leaks from sores on his arms. He smells of rotten meat and shit. His eyes are milky white. He groans low. I retreat backward, holding my heart because it's pounding. I grab my knife but he's quick.

The Vampire's Bride (The Dark Council Series Book 1)

The Vampire's Bride (The Dark Council Series Book 1)

The statue now had dark patches all over its wings as well as the rest of the body, and the surrounding trees now stood like huge dark skeletons covered in a thin skin of white snow, and looking at them made a shudder run down Zaira’s spine. Holding the gun in preparation for a shot, she unlocked the safety and made a dash for the entrance. Reaching the huge iron doors with its intricate designs, she shoved it open to find it unlocked. Confident that the vampire inside would be taken by surprise, she rushed inside… only to slump forward and drop to the ground. Something connected with the back of her head, rendering her unconscious. ***** “Was this really necessary, Son?” a heavily accented

ZEIAH : THE BATTLE BEGINS (BOOK 1) ENGLISH VERSION

ZEIAH : THE BATTLE BEGINS (BOOK 1) ENGLISH VERSION

I am Zeiah, I grew up thinking that everybody around me is ordinary and I am like them, but that's what I thought. I remembered everything, from the growl of that notorious creature, the slashing of the swords, and the explosion, all of it was clear. I close my eyes, quivering into the ideas which my mind could only bear. How I wish everything were just a nightmare. I let out a deep breath and found myself in the middle of nowhere.

Center Land (Book 3 of Kendra's Journey)

Yet, something held her back. In an attempt to ease her conscience, she asked, “Your community is adept in fighting the zombies, correct? Once I set this virus loose, there will be an increase in numbers.” The oversized woman chuckled. “We’ll simply herd them in the direction of the beasts.” A thought suddenly struck Olga. “What happens when the zombies are eliminated? The beasts are used to dining on zombies, correct?” Dr. Mac shrugged. “They’ve been around longer than anyone really knows and have always managed to find food. The zombie crisis is still young in comparison. I’m certain that they’ll adapt.”

BACK FROM THE DEAD: MY APOCALYPSE LEVEL-UP SYSTEM

BACK FROM THE DEAD: MY APOCALYPSE LEVEL-UP SYSTEM

"Good. Lets just get back to the warehouse. Get behind the walls." The four-kilometer drive felt like it took hours. Every time a stray zombie stumbled out from a side alley my foot jerked on the pedal. The heavy steel plow on the front of the truck pushed them aside like dry branches. The city was still burning around me, black columns of smoke twisting into the gray sky but all I could think about was the cold terrifying look in Justin’s eyes. He was right about one thing—the world was changing fast. If a Tier 2 Awakened was already walking around on day one, my current defenses weren't going to be enough to keep me alive.

Death of Vampires (Book #2 of BTCO)

Death of Vampires (Book #2 of BTCO)

Majority of the vampires agreed and their angry yells of ‘yes’ could be heard. “Two weeks ago, I journeyed to Athens to relay the good news to the Elders, about the Blackburn being alive, but I was disappointed to know that it is no news to them because they knew all this while,” Aamon’s expression darkened now. “The Elders have been keeping things from us for too long. They can never be trusted anymore. I decided to act on my own and with Kyle, I was able to get the witch to speak yesterday. There is a sacred book written by the Fathers of the early church after the time of the witch trials. It talks about a prophecy that will bring an end to our immortality.”

75 Days

75 Days

The thump of my boots echoes in the empty store as I drop down from the window sill, landing in a crouch. The other two soldiers climb into the store after me, and they quickly draw their guns and spread out, trying to make this place as secure as possible. Aaron nudges me in one direction, and I quickly grab two red handheld baskets from a stack near the window, before following him down a nearby aisle. Like many stores in such a large city, there isn't much left in any one place. A lot of the remaining merchandise is scattered around the floor or turned on its side on its shelf, having been overlooked during the first couple weeks of the zombie apocalypse.

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

About six months after the apocalypse, there had been an animal plague here. The zombie virus didn't infect animals, but without humans to care for them, chickens, ducks, and sheep starved or died from disease. Their corpses rotted, causing a secondary animal epidemic. In her previous life, Hayley had come here with other base members to collect supplies. At the time, the scene was horrific. Corpses were everywhere, with animal carcasses rotting on the ground. Flies swarmed in clouds around the stench of pigs, cows, and sheep. White maggots squirmed through the carcasses, while rotting flesh oozed thick pus that spread in sticky trails across the ground.

Army Mom
Enthralling. Not my usual genre but the world building was so very detailed and descriptive it became an addiction. A wonderful one. The characters are alive in my mind and will live there for a very long time. Intense action and one hella intense super strong female lead! Highly recommend!

words just can't describe how I feel about this book, after the first read, I turned right around and started reading it a second time. I'm super tempted to read it a couple more times cause I'm so invested in the characters. 100% amazing read. WOULD DEFINITELY BUY IN STORE!

Project Dakota: Rising of the dead

Project Dakota: Rising of the dead

‎Of all the wretched, soul-scarring chores this new world had forced upon us, taking down the zombies was the worst. It wasn't just the danger; it was the profound, gut-churning disgust of it all. It was the most disgusting shit I’d ever done in my whole life, a phrase that felt woefully inadequate to describe the visceral horror. The act itself was a brutal, messy business. It wasn't like in the old movies, a clean shot to the head and a tidy collapse. It was a gruesome ballet of decay and resistance. The sickening, wet thud of the crowbar connecting with a skull that was more liquid than bone. The way they sometimes didn't just fall, but sort of… deflated, spilling their putrid contents on
