Zombie Fanart Novels & Stories

I did the research. On my whole lower arm, these are my favorite monsters in fiction: Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and course, a zombie. If you can see more closely it's a picture of me—zombified. Aww, thanks so much, Zeke. It just sounds funny when you say 'sexy zombie.'

She doubted a zombie would be able to locate her there, even an advanced zombie. One of the things about zombies that stayed with them, no matter how much of their thinking and motor skills returned was the fact that they had poor night vision, depth perception, and were color blind. Those factors went in her favor since the opening to the root cellar was beneath a very realistic looking shrub that was attached to the trap door. Its coloring varied from those it was amongst only by the slightest degree and, unless you ran your hand over it, you’d never guess it wasn’t real. Combine that to the fact that it was nighttime, and she felt safe in her selection of hiding places.

The narrow balcony filled quickly. Ten people crowded onto it, their faces pale and drawn, looking like corpses brought back to life. Hunger had twisted their expressions into something grotesque. The fanatics kept smashing the floor-to-ceiling window, oblivious to pain. Some split their hands open, and blood trickled down and froze on their skin.

And now I'm terrified too. Vincenzo is there. Behind him are my two other big brothers: Terzo and Salvatore. All three are dressed in black: cotton pants, combat boots, and long-sleeved turtlenecks. No jewels, except for the Don's thick signet ring glinting on Vincenzo's finger. All three have pulled back their dark brown hair, the same color as mine. Vincenzo has a tight bun at the nape of his neck. Salvatore has a low ponytail, and Terzo has half a ponytail that he's tied back with pale-pink fucking pom-poms.

A gust of wind sent chills through her body, and she turned to see Mason tackling Julian to the ground; both vampires had their fangs bared, just as planned. Zander staggered drunkenly until his vision cleared. He steadied himself and reached into his jacket for his gun; cocking and aiming it at the fighting vampires. His aim constantly shifted as Mason and Julian continued to gain the upper hand on one another; and with another gust of wind, Julian had vanished.

Hannah and Marcky fought alongside Brandon, their abilities complementing each other as they unleashed a barrage of offensive strikes against the encroaching horde. Hannah's flames danced and flickered, engulfing any zombies that dared to draw near, while Marcky's electrified attacks sent jolts of energy coursing through the ranks of the undead.

Streams of white light energy hit them and sent them and the bodies they possessed down into the abyss. I moved my hand, aimed at zombies, and sent them to the darkness of the Underworld. A zombie in the form of a naked shifter had cracked the back of a screaming Neratomay Elder, and I shot it, sending the both of them into the abyss. Paul was punching a zombie that had entered the body of a Were-bear, its mouth the size of an alligator. Though Paul knocked the bear off balance, the bear wasn't stunned. I aimed my power at the bear's cavernous mouth seconds before it would have locked onto Paul's face. I returned that abomination to the Underworld.

Screams tore through the B2 level. Martha and I bolted for the stairs. Marcus stumbled behind. The smell of blood hit us like a wall. In the makeshift chapel, Sister Catherine was on her knees before the cross. A bloody hole gaped in her neck. A zombie was hunched over her, greedily tearing at her flesh. It had crawled in through an air vent. “Oh God…” Marcus retched. I grabbed a nearby iron chalice and slammed it into the zombie’s head.
