Ferdinand couldn’t believe what he saw when he came back to the laboratory. On a huge cylindrical glass tube was a zombie, based on its appearance. She was a girl probably around 12-14 years old when she was still alive. There’s a rotting wound on her shoulder, smeared with black blood, and her eyeballs turned white all over. Her skin was bluish-pale, while a sticky dark liquid continuously sliding down to her chin. She was groaning, growling, banging on the thick glass and glaring at all the researchers in pure greed.

From my place here on the roof, I can see the chipped black nail polish on his fingers, the black eyeliner that adorns his eyes, and the silver piercing in his eyebrow. His dark brown eyes meet mine briefly, before he turns away and fires at another zombie. Congealed blood splatters his Aerosmith concert t-shirt, and he wipes it away with a disgusted frown. Before I can shout a warning, another zombie creeps up behind him. He turns just as the zombie lunges, and it drags him down to the ground. While he struggles with his enemy, I get down on one knee, and take aim at the creature's head.

I did the research. On my whole lower arm, these are my favorite monsters in fiction: Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, the Hunchback of Notre Dame, and course, a zombie.
