They could track down anyone who owed money, no matter where. When my parents discovered there were no zombies and no apocalypse, they questioned Giselle. She muttered in disbelief, "Impossible!" Mom hesitated. "Why don't we go outside and see for ourselves?" Giselle immediately blocked her. "No, the streets are full of zombies. If you get bitten, there's no surviving it!" They spent another two days holed up inside, and then the debt collectors finally showed. Giselle had chosen a front door fit for a zombie apocalypse. It was so sturdy that no matter what the collectors tried, they couldn't break in. All they could do was curse and walk away.

"That was true, until someone forcefully brought them back. Now they're like mindless zombies." "Zombies?" Mira frowned, her head tilting. "Is that some kind of animated pastry? It sounds deliciously terrifying." Mars face palmed, "no. It's a term from my… village. It means mindless, shambling minions who hunger for brains, or in this case, souls." "So this person, and the shifters," Keith interjected, finally speaking. He had been silently fuming, his eyes tracking how close Mira sat to Mars, how her fingers sometimes brushed his shoulder.

“I was in and out of sleep.” “Thoughts of Titanic?” He turned to face her now, and he was sitting more closely than she thought prudent. “Sometimes,” she shrugged. “Most of my ghosts reside elsewhere.” He closed his eyes and turned his head away. “I’m sorry, Meg.” “I don’t need your sympathy either,” she reminded him, though her tone was just as innocent as his had been. “I suppose not,” he admitted, turning back to face her. “But you have it just the same.”

Austin interrupted her, smiling. "You knew you were a Ghost, and you tried to kill yourself " he raised his hands in apology, as he couldn't control his laughter. He saw she wasn't having any of it, and stopped laughing, but the smile on his face couldn't fade away.

There weren’t birds chirruping, nor insects making sounds, or animals calling out to each other. There was simply no noise. Something else raced behind me in the leaves once more, and I turned sharply. All around, the leaves began to rustle as invisible things shot past them, and no one taught me to run. I ran as fast as I could, and then, I saw them, arising out of the leaves, ground, trees, from everywhere. Just like the video game Lucien had talked about, they looked like Zombies. Only that their skins were a pale white, and some had bones beginning to stick out where their flesh had been decayed. They had no eyes in their sockets, and no teeth in their mouths.

The evolution-fest continued for around two more hours, as the evolutions took some time to end, and after that Chaos wanted to name every single one of these little and measly monsters as well to give them one last boost. Will-o-wisps became Ghosts after the miasma, and after being named each Ghost attained some kind of element, there were Inferno Ghosts that used fire, Storm Ghosts that had wind, Dark Ghosts that could wield darkness, and even the rare Bright Ghost, who could use light! All of them were S-Rank, from measly E-Rank monsters such as Will-o-wisps who can barely hurt a weak orc child, this was a great jump!

The sword only managed to scrape the ghost servant’s arm. “Hurry up. Stop hesitating. Is your life or reputation more important?” Alex asked. “These three fellows aren’t ordinary people. They are zombies, and they are intrinsically afraid of the feminine fluid. As long as you smear it all over your body, they wouldn’t dare to attack you because of the smell,” Alex added. Lady Beatrice gritted her teeth. “Alright, I’ll do as you say.” However, she could only smear the blood on her face and the front of her body and not her back. She still needed Alex’s help.

Veronica stayed quiet and Mike was paying attention to the road along with the driver. In response, Felix just nodded. Now he was familiar with Nick. He was ready for all the tricks Nick had in his sleeves. "So tell me, where we were back then?" Nick questioned. "Huh? Inside the studio of Ghostbusters?" Felix answered back. "Right! What do Ghostbusters do?" "As the name suggests? Ghostbusting?" "Pffttt! Hahahaha! that's the lamest answer I've ever heard."

"What are these things? They're like something out of a nightmare." Caleb's eyes glinted with determination as he stepped forward. "They're nothing we can't handle. Stay together and fight as one. We'll make it through this." And they did. The group worked together, their movements fluid and efficient as they battled the undead horde. Eventually, the last zombie had fallen, and they were able to continue on their journey. Their final obstacle came in the form of ghosts. As they approached their destination, they were suddenly surrounded by a group of ethereal beings, their faces twisted in anger and pain. The ghosts seemed to materialize out of thin air, their moans echoing through the night

☆☆☆ Inside It was foggy within but they could still see what lies buried within the cemetery, they walked stealthily like ghosts trying effectively not to attract unwanted attentions. The Zompires are dead creatures considered to be undead, their existence is a curse and an abomination of the hidden world itself. They are ludicrous and predictable unlike other creatures on the planet, they're visibly blind but attracted to noises and lights. They could transform others at will with just a bite but that differs between species. It hasn't been really tested on a dhampir but Rapidfire was not ready to try that out yet.
