There was a vibration . " Watch out!" Ugoeze dove and knocked the agent out of harm's way. The wall fell off completely. " Oh my God. Did that really happen?" The agent asked ,holding his chest. " We need to leave now. Where is the key? " " Here. " He handed it over to her. Ugoeze unlocked Olamma. " Agent, come on. Let's leave this minute before your people flood here. " The agent stood and they briskly walked out of the building. A few seconds after they left the building, a rescue team started flooding around the whole place.

Eclipse of the Dead

Eclipse of the Dead

The infected weren’t the only threat anymore. That much had become clear over the past few weeks. It wasn’t just the shambling hordes of zombies that kept me awake at night, but the survivors—the desperate ones, the ones who had lost too much, the ones who saw others as nothing more than resources to take.

The Vicious and Vengeful

The Vicious and Vengeful

••••• Alexander was sitting on a sofa in the living room watching the news, it was 3 am and the reports of zombies had just hit the air an hour ago, with the warning of not going outside and to stay indoors and bracketing all doors and windows being the helpful tip to avoid the spread of virus and of course being eaten. Which actually didn’t make people stay indoors but rush out to get supplies to survive indoors, which actually made the zombie virus spread faster because those people were either eaten or became zombies. Major states such as X, B, C and D were hit the hardest because of their population size being the largest, meaning that most of the population in those cities have already

51: The Series

“Divorce would be too easy and painless. We would stay married, and I would make you suffer.” “That sounds fair,” Wren laughed. “Now, eat before I call Little Bob in here to help me make you eat.” They continued their lunch and talked about different things as they did. Until Wren had processed a little more information, they could not do anything about Clayton. He would have to wait for the time being. As they finished their lunch Wren had brought, there was a light knock on Lindsay’s office door, and Little Bob stuck his head inside. “Sorry to interrupt. A call just came in about a zombie over east of that stinking compound. I thought you would like to know about it,” Little Bob told them.

The Pack's Vampire

The Pack's Vampire

She wondered with a brief but sharp stab of pain who Samantha would have looked like, before pushing the thought away. “Alright. There’s something else…” She gripped Lauren’s hands. “The scary people who ate that guy’s face last night… They’re the ones spreading this disease. Somehow it got into the water, or something, but they’re also wandering the town, biting people, and people who get bit, turn into them… Zombies, Rhett is calling them. Do not leave the house or let anyone in unless you’re sure they’re… Well, just be really careful, please. But don’t hurt them… they’re victims too. Long story.”

This series is epic, a real nail biter! Yes, it is dark and touches on many uncomfortable issues, but there is redemption and forgiveness and healing. It shows that people can overcome their past and true change is possible with love and communication. I love the characters, especially the vampire.
Fox 2005
very dense story. highly recommended to start with book one, else you are missing too many information needed to understand the different timelines and points if view. yet these arches are more than necessary for the density. showing perspectives, helping the reader to understand the characters...

Revived From the Dead

Revived From the Dead

A casual act of kindness might one day save your life". Zachary pulled me into his arms gently. Regretfully, he said, "I'm sorry for being late. You wouldn't have to go through so much if I showed up earlier." I lowered my head and leaned into his embrace. "Don't say that. I'm grateful that you showed up. If it weren't for you, I would still be in a vegetative state. "Back then, I felt like I was in a nightmare that I couldn't get out of. I'm still afraid, even now. I'm afraid I'll end up in that lonely and helpless situation."

Do not awaken the Undead king

Do not awaken the Undead king

He liked it because his plans had finally begun to materialize. Would Glein take any measures to stop him? Or was it already too late? Zomzom tended to think it was. His mind wasn’t developed enough to understand every single base covered. Zombies were concerned only to smell a victim out and track their flight. Still, Zomzom’s mind worked well enough to tackle much more difficult problems. Now, he imagined the black blight of his master inescapably spreading around Firel. For now, no one could see this blight. However, it would eventually affect everything, and no one could be saved from it.

Zeroed Out

Zeroed Out

Bag after bag of plasma was pumped into my veins. One raw, guttural scream tore out of me, and then the sound of a baby crying filled the room. On my phone, the screen was still frozen on one last image. Jasper and Fiona were locked in a kiss beneath the Aurelian Tower. I held my crying son and let the tears fall without stopping.

Zombies and Aliens (Book 4 of Kendra's Journey)

“I appreciate the fact that you all have taken us in and given us, for the first time in our lives, a real bed, running water, and all that. I want to make that clear. It’s just that this is a very risky plan you have and I’m not sure that I want my family involved.” Olga nodded. “I understand.” “I’m in all the way,” Oriana said with annoyance. She turned to look directly at her sister. “We have within our grasp the opportunity and the tools to not only put an end to the zombie epidemic, but to take back our planet. I can’t believe you’re not in.” Imogene looked out at her husband as he and Felix struggled to pull the resistant zombie through the door to the building. Even though they h
