she asks us. We shake our heads, “The moon goddess also blessed us. A fox can have more than one mate. When they meet, they will not know it until after they have spent one day together. Then the animals in them will recognize each other. Foxes can be mated with any type of supernatural creature,” she finishes.

His thoughts got interrupted by a loud horn; the signal for the women to start running. They all ran into the forest giggling and pretending to be scared. They did it so the male wolves would feel masculine. Most male wolves were too stupid to see that or simply did not care. 15 minutes later they got the signal that they could go and chase the she-wolves now. The other males quickly transformed and stormed into the forest barking and howling. Noah did not bother transforming and calmly walked after them. He could just as well take a nice hike now that he was in the forest anyway.

Zoe beamed as she scratched behind the pitbull puppy’s ears. “Uh, perhaps you should let me take over, Miss Justice,” I said, clearing my throat, trying to move her away from the table. “But why?” she questioned with confusion written all over her face. “Just a safety precaution with Titus being a pit and all.” “Dr. Parker, he’s a puppy, and I’m fine. Please be seated,” she gritted through clenched teeth. I sighed but returned to my stool in the corner of the room and watched him flirt with Zoe while she examined the puppy.

You’re just slow. Zeus immediately bolted forward again, catching the scent of another rabbit nearby. This time, he dove through the tall grass, snapping his jaws around the small animal before it could escape. Celeste circled him approvingly. For a while, they ran like that, chasing and hunting, while crashing through brush and streams. The world became simple—just instincts, wind, and the thrill of the run. Eventually, both wolves slowed, their energy finally spent.

Life in the south was better than I could have imagined. I was put in charge of the Silver Moon Pack’s most sacred sanctuary, home to rare silver foxes, snow wolves, and the legendary moon-stags. My innate bond with the wild finally had a place to thrive. Whenever I walked through the sanctuary, the animals would approach me on their own. Silver foxes would brush their fluffy tails against my palm. Snow wolf pups would roll around at my feet, begging for attention. The pack members looked at me with open adoration.

All of a sudden they zoomed in! "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"Screamed of her little friends and the little fox.

She had no answered so I took his question. "They ran off when they heard sirens. They probably took off for the woods." I spoke nonchalantly but chills rippled through me as I remembered the two beasts as they crouched to spring. The zoo was shut down as professionals searched the premise for the wolves. It was to stay closed for a while until the buzz of "The Two Mutant Wolves Rampage The Zoo," calms down. Once they found out the zoo was beast-wolf-free, they started searching the woods. I didn't like that when I found out. Alastor had spared me my life, and I was grateful. I hoped they wouldn't find the two again and I hoped that they could live the rest of their wolfy lives peacefully. I

, he grinned cheekily. "Yeah?" Raven hummed pushing to stand up, "When was that?" he teased. "About seven and a half hours ago", he answered honestly, standing fluidly the fox in his arms, "You know a baby fox is called a kit, not a puppy", he pointed out. Raven still rearing from the sudden new information, he stared at Zen shocked, and before he could say anything about it, Marcia and Pyria stepped back out into the yard, the latter making a beeline for him, bracing for the impact he winced as the elf picked him up, forgetting her strength.

' 'Where do foxes appear? 'Wait on. If we kept foxes as pets, I bet we wouldn’t hunt them. Because we don’t keep them as pets we treat them like weeds, which, if, unlike horseradish, we have no use for them, they become a pest and so we hunt them. Logo!' I had a mouth full of cereal and waved at Sonya to stop there. When I could talk again I said, 'Can I have a few minutes with that last sentence of yours?'

Now clothed in animal skin skirts, they all sat around a fire in the middle of the round hut, pulling off pieces of meat and dipping it in salt as they considered the afternoon's events, the babies in a pile fast asleep. "Maybe she won't even be able to shift into a person," mumbled Aaron as he picked at his meal. Peacocks were omnivores and would eat just about anything, but it still annoyed him that the foxes, also technically omnivores, never thought to bring home nuts or fruits for the night. "That wouldn't make any sense then, you think she's just a wild fox that came out of a woman?" asked Asher, the first thing he really had to say about any of this.
