Roberto spun. Zed’s eyes met mine. Fury. Relief. Murderous rage. Everything at once. Roberto’s grip on my hair tightened before he shoved me aside. I stumbled, breath shaking as my eyes locked on Zed. He stood at the door like pure destruction. Eyes dark. Gun steady. Roberto grinned. “Well… little brother.” No response. Just silence. Then chaos. Roberto lunged for his gun. “Down!” Zed barked. I dropped.

Then another on his side and Zyros fell to one knee, breathing hard. "Any last words?" Ronan asked as he raised his sword. Zyros looked at me and our eyes met and something passed between us through the bond. Then he moved, faster than he had moved all fight. He rolled to the side as Ronan's blade hit nothing but dirt. Before Ronan could recover, Zyros was behind him. His sword cut deep across the back of Ronan's legs. Ronan screamed and collapsed forward. "That was for my father," Zyros said. He moved again and this time his blade found Ronan's arm. The dagger fell from Ronan's hand. "That was for Draven," Zyros continued.

“Careful, Daniel. I might just add you to my collection.” Edward seized the moment, lunging toward one of the rogues. He dodged the silver wires with practiced ease, his blade slicing through the rogue’s arm in a single, fluid motion. The rogue howled in pain, collapsing to the ground. Robin’s face twisted in fury. “You’re testing my patience!” Daniel smirked, his blade poised. “Good. We’re not here to make you comfortable.” But just as Edward moved to attack the second rogue, Robin pulled a lever hidden behind the pillar. The ground beneath Edward and Daniel trembled before collapsing inward, revealing a hidden pit.

At least Ryder was backed by the power of the Shore. The video switched angles. This time, it was one of the cameras of one of the buildings which gave a closer view. Ryder was using his scimitar, which he had locked in the house's basement after the war. Zed was spinning his lance that sparked with electricity. Every time their weapons locked, the pavement cracked and debris fell around them. Ryder only cared about fighting Zed and ignored the other members. Every time one got in his way, he just simply sent them flying off the roof down a hundred feet below.

As a result, Robin patted him on the shoulder trying to make him wake up. "Are you alright?" He asked him. "Ah, hm yes, anything you need?" Zoe asked feeling all nervous. He was sweating a lot and wiping his sweat with his handkerchief. Robin retreated his steps back to Lucy. Gray was enjoying his drink and talking to other participants.

Julian muttered, but I silenced him with a sharp look. “Did she just call him Alpha?” Rose whispered behind me. “Stop,” Robin croaked, and the girl instantly released him. “I’m fine,” he told her though he looked anything but. “You look far from fine,” a man with sharp green eyes said, stepping forward. “I’m fine, Zane,” Robin insisted, though he nearly doubled over. “Who are they?” Zane’s gaze flicked toward me. “Before introductions,” I cut in, my voice sharp, “Robin needs treatment.”

I snapped back. “So do you two always lock horns like this ?” Jax asked amused while taking some of the burden from Rob. “When you got a whiny, stuck up Beta, you have got to do what I do,” I sighed dramatically and Rob sent his best glare my way. “I have a good mind to cut your rope, Zara,” Rob smirked as he pulled us into the cave. “Any last words ?” he teased. “I won’t die asshole and that too a virgin,” I laughed.

Robin’s expression grew stern, and his eyes flashed with a determined glow. “What is that?” Lado’s mother asked with great trepidation. Each time that sound was heard, the earth trembled in much greater intensity. “Stay here Margo,” Robin didn’t give an answer to his wife’s question. Instead, he retrieved an old axe from a hidden corner of the room. With several complicated emotions in his eyes he rushed out with the axe whilst saying, “Protect Lado!” “Robin!” Margo screamed as she tried to stop her husband from doing what she deemed as stupid; yet he did not heed her. As though fate wanted to confirm her fears, a massive roar was heard, and a pillar fell from the sky and struck the village!

I ordered the warriors to take care of the body of the rogue before I gave the pack the all clear to go about business like normal. Zorro was in awe of his mate. He had only seen her from far away and was enjoying being this close to her. Even if she did have blood all over her jaw. He rubbed himself against her side. she let out a sound like a purr and swatted at his head gently. He nipped at her tail and was about to take off running when I stopped him.
