40 (Part 1) His Side Arthur’s Point of View The moment I open the door to our house, I had this feeling of uneasiness. I work late again today and my wife is alone in the house but I heard some weird noises as I approach our bedroom but when I was about to open the door my feet caught something in the floor and my heart started beating fast as I squat and look at the jacket that I know so much. It’s tangled up with my wife’s panties and the moment I open the door of our bedroom my world crashed.

A soft blue wall lay in front of him, above which was a wall clock showing eight o'clock in the morning. "At eight o'clock?" Chris whispered. He was still confused. Looking at his own body, all of his clothes and even his shoes were still on his feet. Reaching into the pocket of the hoodie he was wearing, he still found his cell phone in there. "I can't just stay here, I have to find out exactly where I am now," said Chris assuring himself. Although in his heart felt a little doubt. There is fear there if now he is in the house of a criminal.

I wake up to the sound of the alarm clock... I can’t believe how long this thing’s been playing. Just today, my boss Henry is retiring and today is his last day at the company, he will introduce his son and our new boss in exactly ten minutes. And I haven’t even showered yet. He uttered sounds annoyed. “S-sorry. Come again?” I replied, damn I’m so spaced out when he’s so near. “Nevermind.” He snorted and went back to the bench. Even though I have an idea about it. “Don’t embarrass yourself to the front of the guy you like!” She whispered sounding annoyed.

Priscilla felt pressed and had to wake up but upon realizing the child was crying she kept on her ear pods to ignore the cries of the child even though she could still hear them but not as loud as it was without the ear pods. She dragged herself to the washroom and when she was back it was when she noticed her husband was not in the bed and neither was he in the washroom, trying to think about it she removed her ear pods and turned on the lights in their room. This was not the first time she had woken up and not see him, she usually thought perhaps he was in the washroom and she would keep on sleeping not worrying but this day, he was no where inside that room, not even on the balcony.

After Tiffany finished speaking, she began to cry. "It's Mr. Sneyd!" "What? Mr. Sneyd?!" Franklin Sneyd was our literature professor! I inhaled sharply, completely shocked. The well-mannered, seemingly polite man had been hiding such a dark side. "Ms. Elledge, leave this to me. I'll make sure he pays for what he's done." I promised her confidently, and this gave Tiffany a sense of hope. "Ms. Elledge, please rest here. I'll figure out a way to handle this."
