Sophia’s eyes widen as she says, “Ruby Queen? Is it a new rank?” I nod as I show her my tattoo. She comes over to inspect it. She frowns and speaks. “It makes perfect sense. It is the infinity symbol that characterizes this range.” I hang my head to the side as I ask her, “Why?” She looks at me and says, “The infinity symbol represents that which has no beginning or end. It refers to your powers, Isa. Mathematically speaking, the powers cannot be measured or quantified. Apart from that, it represents continuous development and balance to achieve harmony in the world.” I look at her and say, “Wow, you never cease to amaze me, dude. You are so smart!”

It was only five in the afternoon, but with the sky closing up, it was late, day turning into night. I changed into long sweatpants and a shirt. I looked like I was ready for bed, but as the days passed, the air turned more fabulous, and soon we would be in autumn. No longer was I going to be able to wear shorts, and in just a couple of days, my tan would be gone. I would turn into the pasty-looking child I was while growing up.
