It helps keep up the illusion that we are staying with them. Campus has become a ghost town. In the last two days, so many people have left campus. We have allotted supplies delivered to our accommodation every couple of days. It saves us from the pandemonium at the supermarket. None of us fancy fighting with a group of moms, over the last tin of backed beans or bag of pasta. Life as we know it has changed.

In the distance, she could see more buildings, probably lecture halls and libraries, and beyond that, an open field that seemed to stretch out endlessly. Lune stood there for a moment, taking it all in. She had seen pictures of universities before, but nothing compared to seeing it up close like this. The campus had an air of prestige and elegance, the kind of place where important things happened. For a moment, she felt small, standing in the middle of it all, but then excitement began to build in her chest. “This is really happening,” she whispered to herself, her lips curling into a small smile. “I’m actually here.”

Onyx asked, his brow furrowing with confusion as he glanced between Jade and me. I took a deep breath, preparing to explain. "It's a compulsory camp for college students in my level," I began, trying to keep my explanation simple yet clear. "Basically, it's like this big gathering where students from different colleges come together for two weeks of activities, workshops and bonding. They organize it every year to help us develop teamwork, leadership skills and just to have fun, I guess." I continued, "It's kind of like a break from our regular routine. Plus, they throw in some cool outdoor activities like hiking, campfires and stuff. It's not all lectures and seminars, you know."
