Ellie had to pull up short or else run into two towering walls of muscle. That didn't mean she was going to give up, though. As the wolf on the right came at her, Ellie ducked down and aimed for his back legs, knocking him off of his feet. He flew up into the air and flipped over onto his back behind her. The second wolf pivoted to try and face her in her new position, but she was much faster than he was. The wolf was thrown off balance with one swivel from the smaller, quicker wolf. She reached out with her front left paw and swiped at him, pulling her claws through his fur and drawing blood. It wouldn't stop him, but it might slow him for a second. And all she needed was a second.

She opened the shower and let the cold water run down her head to her feet. She went down the memory lane when she went to crystal's house. How warm and relaxing the shower was. Well, this was not any worse.

Ellie's POV: I rode my bicycle through the mundane hustle and bustle of the town, on my way to work… or as I like to call it, my one peaceful sanctuary that I immerse myself in to escape the boredom of my life. I pushed open the heavy wooden door that led into the town’s library. It had been one of the first places to have been built and has been around for generations with stacks and rows of books from floor to ceiling. It used to be wildly popular according to my mum, but most days I’m here, the only ones that seem to come in now are kids and teenagers that still attend school. They come to us to know more about our history, our land or poetry and for most girls…homemaking.
