Jeremy's POV
The warmth of the jacuzzi and that of the three women in my arms kept the cold at bay. The music was loud, the crowd was lively, overall it was a good night. While I drowned myself with alcohol, I had beautiful women by my side to keep me from getting cold. I pulled the blonde by my left closer without warning, and she collapsed on my body, a maniacal smile plastered on her face. Her hard silicone breasts pressed hard against my chest while we graced each other with the softness of our lips. Twenty seconds later, she hopped off my body, and paved the way for her dark haired colleague. Purposefully, she circled my hips around mine. The warmth of my hard outline embraced the softness of her buttocks, and my hands folded around her heavy breasts roughly. She moaned gutturally into the depths of my mouth, her curved lips exhaling a testament to the overflowing passion and heat between us. Realizing that their colleague had spent more than twenty seconds on my body, the other two girls got into a fight to pull her away. "No fighting ladies. Let's be gentle tonight." I cautioned before planting a kiss on each of their lips. The three ladies giggled happily before getting back to massaging and caressing every part of my body. This was the life, getting holed up in the palace all day long was no way to spend my youthful days. Being an Alpha was a very laborious work, one that required an industrious and hardworking man. After spending my day hooked up with the day's work, it was nothing short of justifiable to spend my night cooling off. Except during emergencies, I had a strict rule that forbade any disturbances once it was past ten pm. Although there weren't any strict punishments attached to breaking this law, my subjects obeyed it strictly. However, tonight was an exception. Without seeking permission, one of my elite guards, Aaron Radcliff, intruded into the club. "We have breachers, my lord!" He announced before I even got a chance to chastise him for his ungentlemanly actions. "Breachers or a breacher?" I asked, my voice laced with a bit of shock and disbelief. We haven't had any breacher for over five decades now. Having a random one show up just like this was not something we were used to. "Yes, my lord, just one though. We managed to capture her, shall we bring her in?" Aaron inquired. "Do you not see my current situation? You speak as though you've lost your senses." I bellowed at the insensitive man. How could he even suggest bringing a lowly creature before me at this moment interrupting my fun. He was lucky I was in a good mood tonight, things would have gone a lot differently if that hadn't been the case. "Forgive my carelessness Alpha, I spoke out of turn." Aaron apologized, his head lowered even more. I didn't say any more words to him, there was no need to warn him twice or reply to his expected apology. There were many things to focus on right now, wasting a second on an insignificant apology might cost me. "Excuse me ladies." I said to the sex workers beside me. The three of them grumbled in disappointment before finally leaving me to dry myself and get dressed. And only then did my mind trail back to Aaron's words. "Captured her?" I muttered under my breath, this breacher was a woman. It was quite a surprising and amusing discovery, women rarely breached. They did not possess the strength and agility of their male counterparts, which often led to their capture before they could reach the borders. For a woman to make it into our own side could only mean two things: she was ridiculously strong, or she somehow managed to sneak her way into this place, which would in turn make her a ridiculously clever woman. To escape the eyes of numerous werewolves was no easy feat. "Bring the breacher to me—" I paused to reconsider my orders. "Or on second thoughts, take me to her. I wouldn't want filth like her staining this sanctuary." I rephrased, and Aaron immediately got up and led the way. This breacher has somehow managed to pique my interest. I had no idea who she was, but for some odd reason, I wanted to meet her so badly. With our speed it wasn't long before we reached where the culprit was being held hostage. It was close to the border, and when we arrived the lady in question was already bound up to a tree. The moment my gaze fell upon her I could immediately tell that this was one was different. "Who are you? Or rather what are you?" I asked. "As expected from the Alpha, you noticed right away." Aaron praised. "She's not like the rest of them. She doesn't have our scent, neither does she have ours. But she's definitely not human, otherwise she wouldn't be able to do that to Frederick.." Aaron pointed to the wounded soldier on the floor. Although he was being treated, his wounds didn't seem to be healing. It was just as I suspected, this one was different. Aaron's answers were correct, but I wanted to hear everything from the horse's mouth. "Aren't you going to say something? Whether you live or die will be determined with your reply." She glared at me with her red eyes, rage and hatred evident in them. Under the disheveled hair, and the dirt around her face was a beautiful lady. High, delicate cheekbones added a sculptural quality to her face, her nose was perfect, and her round lips arched up in disgust at my words. She was resilient, and clearly hardheaded, but those qualities wouldn't save her when she was surrounded by enemies. I waited for her reply, but none came. On regular days, breachers were killed on sight, but thanks to her uniqueness, my soldiers had hesitated on killing her. Since they weren't sure of what race belonged to, they hadn't taken matters into their own hands. I really hoped that she would entertain me a little, but her scum attitude has done nothing but annoy me and chip away the little patience I had. Annoyed that she had not only made me leave my safe haven, but had also wasted my time, I closed the distance between us in an instant, my palm closed around her feeble neck. Since she wouldn't speak, then I'll make sure she never does again. With one twist of my hand, I could snap her neck, and that was exactly what I went for. My fingers twitched, but the moment I tried to apply the required force to carry out her sentence, I felt a heavy pull of attraction towards this stranger. In that same instant, the wolf in me awakened, and that moment I quickly came to realize that this breacher was my.. "Mate?" I wondered in my head. Surely my wolf has mistaken her for someone else. A lowly nobody like this couldn't possibly be my mate. "Stop it!" I yelled at my wolf, Fenrir, mentally. This was beyond games now. If it had been an omega from my pack, I might have considered mating her, but a breacher who isn't a wolf was not acceptable. Not only did it not sit right with me, members of the pack wouldn't accept it either. "Mate? That's impossible." I threw out orally. "Mate?" "Who?" "He doesn't mean the breacher, right?" Those were the most common questions that I heard from the little crowd behind me. I'd been so annoyed that I'd lost control of my own lips. "Silence!" I screamed out, and the entire forest went cold, even the nocturnal animals seemed to have obeyed too. The pull was undeniable, and from the way her eyes widened too, I could tell she could feel it too. Right now I was conflicted between being happy that I've found a mate, or snapping this breacher's neck to end this nightmare. We both stared at each other, her red eyes focused on my amber ones. The silence was palpable, and was only broken when I whispered, "Impossible, she must have entranced us." "What do you mean impossible? Entranced? There's no way my senses could be mistaken. I'm certain, she's my mate." My wolf opposed. The confidence in his voice was almost compelling. I could already feel the pull to accept her just from hearing how confidently he spoke about this breacher being my mate. There was nothing I could do at this point. Fenrir wouldn't stop screaming mate in my head, and I couldn't deny the air of attraction between me and this breacher. "Bring her back to the mansion." I ordered before walking away. She was indeed a strange one, and everything surrounding her was strange. Although killing her would easily solve the conflict in my head right now, I felt like getting more information out of her would help me a lot better. I'd already made up my mind, the slightest misbehavior would become her death sentence. After the events of that fateful night—the night that he witnessed Alicia’s betrayal—Billy only had one thought.… To make Alicia his no matter what.He abandoned his principles and any last shreds of dignity. The self-control that held him back snapped, and now that he was unhinged, he could finally see the light.Billy knew what had to be done.He reached out to Evals Redart, and they both struck a deal.He would lure Alicia to the agreed-upon location, and that was where the deed would take place. The only reason he was successful was due to the effects of the ring he had on his right finger—The Ring of Deceit. All he had to do was touch Alicia with it once, and he would be able to transform into whoever she trusted most.Earlier that day, he took the first step of his plan and brushed past her, using the ring to touch her skin. She noticed it instantly and shot him a disgusted look, but Billy knew it was only because she was confused. She misunderstood his intentions.‘This is all
‘I-Is that really Rey…?’Alicia's shock was clear as day when she saw Rey's aggressive scowl. She couldn’t hide it anymore.“GET UP! DON’T TRY TO PLAY THE VICTIM ANYMO—!”“That’s enough!” Alicia yelled out, her eyes staring daggers at Rey.“A-ah, Alicia, don’t mind me. I’m just telling this—”“Save it. I don’t want to hear anything from you…” Rey attempted to explain, but Alicia wasn't having it. She raised her hand and walked past him, completely ignoring his lame excuse.Approaching the waitress, Alicia knelt beside her, gently taking hold of her trembling hands“It’s fine, don’t worry. I’m not mad at you.” The lady seemed immensely surprised by Alicia’s kindness, and even Rey appeared stunned from behind her. However, Alicia had no further business with him.“Please stand up.” She helped the waitress up, and after they both rose to their feet, she nodded and smiled even more broadly.“You made a mistake. It happens. Maybe take the rest of the day off,” she suggested kindly.Sinc
“U-uhh…”Alicia let out a groan as she slowly blinked her eyes open. The room around her was covered in darkness, and her vision struggled to clear the blur. The combination of darkness and her bleary sight made everything a chaotic mess. Her whole body ached and with each movement, her head pounded. Even the simple act of opening her eyes felt like a chore due to the pain that radiated throughout her body.“You’re… awake… huh?” A familiar voice asked, coming from somewhere close by.Though she couldn’t make out the face, she recognized the familiar voice instantly.“B-Billy…?” Her voice was barely a whisper, her throat feeling like it was on fire with each word. Her discomfort made it hard to focus on anything else.‘What happened? Why am I here? Where is this place? Why is Billy—?’Just as Alicia was about to piece together her thoughts, fragments of recent memories flooded her mind. She remembered how Rey approached her in the library, and how they went to a shady shop. And then…
‘S-something came up…?!’As Rey stared into Adonis’ eyes, he could tell that something was terribly wrong. An expression of concern swept through his face and it felt like anxiety was welling up within him. Before Rey realized it, his heart began to race.“Am I in trouble again?” He asked, a bead of sweat forming on the side of his face.“A-ah! No! No! This is something else. You’ll understand once you come with me. Everyone is waiting…”Adonis had never lied to Rey before—at least not to his knowledge. There was no reason to think he was doing so now, but Rey knew he couldn’t be too sure. After a few seconds of internal debate, Rey decided that his best option was to go with Adonis and see what was going on.‘I’ve not done anything wrong or suspicious lately, right? Or could it be another scheme by the mastermind of last time…?’Rey shrugged off his problematic thoughts and left his position, carrying the book he was reading in his hand without realizing it.“Don’t you need to return
“I was only ever interested in one, but when I realized he was a jerk, I cut ties with him.”Alicia then speculated that the senior’s bruised ego might have driven him to spread rumors about her. However, Alicia’s reputation was solid enough that people mostly interpreted it as her casually dating seniors—nothing more, nothing less.Rey's surprise was evident as he muttered, “Oh, wow. I never imagined it was like that.” He turned to Alicia, who simply shrugged in response.“Things aren’t always what they seem. If we listen to everyone’s opinions and don’t take time to form our own, we’ll just end up drowning in misinformation.”Rey thought about Alicia's words, finding them surprisingly insightful, yet he struggled to express his thoughts without seeming cheesy.“That's actually quite smart.” He finally settled on the most neutral way to put it."I know, right?" Alicia replied, her hand playfully sweeping back her long hair as she chuckled, trying to act like a wise diva."Pfft!" Rey
