Harry left Greyson and Indianna alone as they made their way into the pack house. Indianna found herself pulling Greyson forward, he almost didn't want to go inside. "I did wonder if I'd ever step foot in this house again," he admitted. "The thought of you kept me going, but I did have times where I thought I'd never see any of this again."
"Come on," Indianna said softly and pulled Greyson inside. It was natural for her to make her way up the stairs and to Greyson's room, but it was as if Greyson was walking through the house for the first ever time.
"You've been staying in my room," Greyson said when they walked in. "Nothing has changed."
"I wanted to be close to you," Indianna said. She turned around and locked the door. "Let's get you cleaned up." Indianna walked up to Greyson and grabbed the bottom of the dirty tshirt he was wearing.
"Wait," Greyson said sharply and held Indianna's wrist. "Prepare yourself."
Indianna frowned and raised Greyson's tshirt over his head. She gasped. Scars covered his chest, along with old and fresh wounds. She could barely see any skin amongst the wounds, scars, dirt and blood. "Oh," she said and gulped. She cautiously raised her hand to his chest. "Greyson. I'm so sorry."
Greyson placed his hand over Indianna's. The feel of his heart beating soothed her. "It's okay," he said. "Rogue underestimated me. He thought he could break me. All of this is superficial. I'm okay, sugar."
Indianna took Greyson's hand led him to the bathroom. She turned the shower on and kicked off her shoes. "Get undressed."
"You do not have to tell me twice."
Greyson smiled when Indianna rolled her eyes. "Greyson," she said seriously. "Did Rogue tell you anything about me?"
"He told me lots of things about you to try and mess with my head," Greyson said. Indianna continued to undress. "I didn't believe any of them."
"My one regret is not telling you something. Something huge." Indianna looked into Greyson's eyes and took a deep breath before removing her top.
Greyson stared, unblinking. His eyes on Indianna's stomach. She wasn't very large, but she was very clearly pregnant. "He was telling the truth," Greyson said and cautiously took a step forward. "I thought he was just trying to mess with my head."
"I'm so sorry for not telling you," Indianna said.
"It's... we're-" Greyson stood in front of Indianna and placed his hands on her stomach. His eyes were wide with shock. "We're having a baby?"
"Prepare yourself," Indianna said. "Twins."
"I'm going to have to figure out how to be a dad," Greyson said. "Oh, sugar, this is going to be interesting." Greyson grabbed Indianna and kissed her. She could feel him smiling. "I love you so much."
Indianna smiled and stepped into the shower. She reached out for Greyson. "It's a boy and a girl," she told him and grabbed the soap as Greyson joined her and they stood under the warm water together.
"How far along are you?" Greyson asked as Indianna rubbed the soap over his body, getting rid of the blood and dirt.
"They're due in February."
"Jheeze, that's not long."
"We have time," Indianna said and reached up and stroked Greyson's damp hair. "You need a hair cut."
"And a shave," he murmured. "But all that can wait. I need you to kiss me right now."
"Gladly," Indianna whispered.
*
"That's better," Indianna said as Greyson came out of the bathroom. He had shaved and after showering he looked a lot healthier. "How are you feeling?"
"I don't know," he admitted and sat down on the chair Indianna had placed in the middle of the room. She stood behind him and her her fingers through his hair. "It feels strange to be back."
"I can't believe I'm touching you," Indianna said and grabbed the pair of scissors from the side. She started to cut his long hair. "I really hope all this isn't a dream."
"Oh, sugar, it isn't," Greyson said.
"Greyson, how did Rogue do it?"
"Rogue has a partner, Ben. He's alive, but you already know that, don't you?"
"He's got Brooke," Indianna said.
"Ben has an injection. It can block the bond between mates. I assume that's what he's using on Brooklyn. Harry did look more tense that usual earlier, guess that explains it. Ben used that on me, but it was amplified by Rogue. When he attacked you he left his claws in your neck. Didn't he?"
"Yes, but Doc removed them."
"Part of Rogue was inside of you, Rogue was able to use that to gain control and have a stronger block of the mate bond. It was only when the claws were removed I was able to fight against the block."
"The dream," Indianna said. "And times when I thought I could hear you... I wasn't imagining it, was I?"
"No," Greyson.
"Wow," she said. "Greyson, I don't understand why he let you go?"
"He thought he had broken me. He thought he had finally got to me. He doesn't think I'm going to fight back. He thinks he's won."
"But we're going to fight back?"
Greyson stood up and pulled Indianna close to him. He rested his hands on her stomach. "I already had a good reason to stay strong, to fight. You and the pack. But now, I've got two more and they're already one of the most important things in my life. Of course we're going to fucking fight back."
"I'm so glad to hear you say that," Indianna smiled. "Do you have any idea how, though?"
Greyson smirked. "It's amazing how much you can observe when you're locked up," he said. "I've got an idea."
Indianna nodded. "Good, because that's more than we've been able to come up with."
"What you've done is amazing. You've kept the pack together," Greyson said.
"Brooke isn't here, and Ellie nearly died-"
"You've done amazing," Greyson repeated and kissed Indianna. "Now, be a good mate and finish my hair cut."
Indianna hit Greyson gently as he sat back down. "You coming back from the dead isn't an excuse to still be an ass."
"You love me," Greyson said. "And be coming back from the dead has made you love me more."
Indianna rolled her eyes and finished cutting Greyson's hair. "Now, sugar, I've got to find my family. The guys can wait till tomorrow, but my parents, Kirstie, I want to see them tonight."
"Of course," Indianna said. "I'll go and get them."
"I'm surprised they haven't sensed anything different," Greyson said. "Or noticed my scent."
"Even when you were gone, you were still with us," Indianna said softly. "Your presence has never left the house."
"I'm glad," Greyson smiled.
"I'll be right back," Indianna said and walked to the door. She glanced back at Greyson who ran his fingers through his shorter hair and took a deep breath.
"Don't be too long," he said sternly and Indianna left the room.
The front door opened as she made her way downstairs and Harry, Ace, Kal, Kimberly and Tai rushed in. They froze when they saw Indianna.
"Is it true?" Ace asked immediately.
Indianna nodded.
"Oh my god, our Alpha has come back from the dead," Kal whispered.
"He has," Indianna said with a small smile. "I'm just going to get his parents and Kirstie to tell them. He's asked for privacy tonight, I hope you can understand. Tomorrow he said he will explain everything."
"But he's okay?" Ace said. "Is he okay?"
"He's battered and bruised, but he's okay."
"Thank god," Ace whispered.
"I've got to go, but everything will be explained tomorrow," Indianna said and walked away from her friends. She was still shocked. Her whole world had been turned upside down and she didn't know how to react.
She had Greyson back.
"Laura," Indianna said and looked into the kitchen where she found Laura cooking. "I need you to get Mark, and Kirstie and Mac."
"What for?" Laura wondered.
"I just need you to get them, and meet me outside Greyson's room," Indianna said firmly.
Laura, noticing the seriousness in Indianna's tone, nodded. "Of course, dear."
"Thank you," Indianna said and rushed back upstairs to Greyson. She wanted to touch and hold him again. "They're coming," she told him and reached for his hands. "And the guys have returned home from the fair. They're glad you're okay."
"I want to see them," Greyson said and wrapped his arms around Indianna. "But tonight I just want you. I just want my family."
"They understand," Indianna said and she heard footsteps outside of Greyson's room. *They're here,* she said to Greyson through mind link. She pulled away from him and walked over to the door.
"What's going on, Indie?" Kirstie asked when Indianna opened it, not far enough so they could see Greyson.
"You guys need to try and not freak out," Indianna said. "But there's someone who would like to see you." Indianna opened the door wide and a shocked squeak came from Laura's mouth.
"What?" Greyson asked innocently. "You look like you've seen a ghost."
A sob escaped Kirstie's mouth and she ran at Greyson, attacking him in a hug. She was spurting out illiterate words, her crying getting heavier every second.
"Oh, my boy," Laura gasped and slowly walked over to her son, her hand over her mouth in shock. Kirstie slowly pulled away from Greyson and he turned to face his mother.
"Mum, I'm here," Greyson said. "I'm real."
"My darling boy," Laura whispered and pulled her son into her embrace. Mark soon joined them. He had gone white and his eyes were wide. He wrapped his arms round both of them and closed his eyes.
"This is impossible," Mark said. "You died."
"No," Greyson said and stepped back from his parents. "I didn't."
"I'm so glad you're not dead," Mac said and embraced Greyson.
"So am I, man," Greyson chuckled.
Indianna made her way over to Greysob's bed and watched Greyson's reunion with his family with a smile on her face.
"How is this possible?" Laura gasped. She was clutching her sons hand. "We saw... we saw your body."
"But did you see me?" Greyson asked. "Rogue faked it. He faked killing me. He injected me with something that blocks the mate bond. It's why Indianna couldn't feel me. To her I felt dead."
"Where have you been all this time?" Mark asked.
"Rogue and Ben had me locked up underground. I still am unsure as to where it was. I tried to get out, but the two of them weakened me. I couldn't do anything."
"That doesn't matter now. You're home," Laura said.
"And I have a plan. I may have been locked up, but my hearing wasn't damaged while I was there. I overheard lots of conversations between Rogue and Ben, and I'm pretty sure they don't know that I know what I do."
"Whatever plan you have, don't do anything that means we could lose you again, you idiot," Kirstie said.
Greyson chuckled. "I'm not going anywhere. I'm not leaving my family again." Greyson looked at Indianna and then at her hands that were resting on her stomach. "And I'm definitely not dying again anytime soon."
Indianna forced a smile. "I would never."Greyson chuckled. "Are you not eating any more, sugar?"Indianna stared down at the food on her plate, feeling full. She had taken a lot more food than she could manage to consume. She shook her head.Greyson turned to his sister. "Has she actually eaten a decent breakfast?""Greyson, I've eaten!" Indianna argued.Kirstie rolled her eyes. "Trust your mate, you dick. She ate enough for a whole family.""Great. In that case." Greyson took Indianna's plate from her and sat down between the two girls, tucking into the remains of Indianna's breakfast."We better get organised," Mac said, running his hand along Kirstie's thigh. "We gotta a lot of men to get today.""No rest for the wicked," Kirstie sighed and jumped up from the floor. "Let's go tear down Rogue's empire, lover."Mac chuckled and let Kirstie pull him up from the floor. "Let's do this.""You know," Oscar said, furrowing his eyebrows as he stood up with Kirstie and Max , "you'd think th
DAY ONEIndianna was woken by Kal's snores, they were soft, but she had been struggling to sleep the whole night and now all she could focus on was Kal's heavy breathing. She sighed and turned over, trying to get comfortable which was rather hard with her bump. She was now looking at Greyson as he slept. He seemed so peaceful. His face was so calm and serene, she wished that he didn't have to wake up to the hell they were in.Greyson's eye twitched and Indianna knew that he was no longer asleep. He reached out, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her into his chest, resting his chin on her head and one hand on her stomach. *It's early, sugar, you should be asleep, not perving on me while I sleep.*Indianna chuckled slightly. *Sleep doesn't come easily these days.**Try,* Greyson pleaded. *It's 2am. You need your rest.**So do you.**I'm fine. I'm swapping watch duty with Oscar soon anyway.*The rest of the previous day was spent waiting anxiously for Oscar, Kirstie and Mac to ret
"Please don't call yourself that," Indianna said."It's true. I can't be trusted-""Would a monster feel remorse?" Indianna asked, cutting Tai off. "Do you think Rogue feels remorse over his actions?""That is different-""You are not a monster, Tai," Indianna insisted. "You didn't do what you did on purpose. As you said, you lost control. What happened has happened, it can't be taken back. The only thing we can do now is focus on the present. Tai, will you help us now?"It was a few moments before Tai acknowledged that Indianna had spoken. She pursed her lips and gave one sharp nod. "I need to wash this blood off of me," she said and turned on her heel and disappeared into Indianna's room.Indianna made her way to Greyson's room next. The scent of him surrounded her when she entered and she closed her eyes, caressing her bump. She didn't want to go without him. Indianna swallowed the lump in her throat and changed out of the clothes she had been wearing for dinner. Once she was in sw
"If I'd have known that talking to Brooklyn would change your mind then I would have suggested you do that as soon as you started to disagree with me."Indianna scowled at Greyson who smirked at her as she approached him. "Shut up."Greyson reached out and took Indianna's hand, pulling her towards him. "Thank you," he murmured."I'm still annoyed," Indianna grumbled and looked down at her feet, glaring."Hey." Greyson took Indianna's chin and tilted her head up. "Please don't be. You're keeping yourself and our children safe. That's the most important thing. Don't scowl at me, sugar.""You're important."Greyson smiled and kissed Indianna's forehead affectionately. "God, I love you, woman."Karl suddenly yelled from across the room. "They're here! Fucking hell, you took your time, lads! It's not like we're waiting for a psychopath to come and kill us or anything!""You just can't keep your mouth shut, can you?" Harry groaned, but made his way over to where Kal was now standing, over t
"Just me," Greyson croaked. "You know it's the smart thing to do. There's no point in slaughtering a whole pack.""You think I care about how many people I have control over? Do you think I care about that when my mate is lying dead in my arms!" Rogue roared. He threw Greyson to the side, kicking him onto the floor. "You will all die! I will kill you all for what you have done. None of you will live to see next week." Rogue looked down at Stacey and brushed her hair away from his face, smiling down at her. "Everything I will do to this pack will be for you, my love," he whispered. "I promise, I will make them suffer." He then walked towards the woods, not looking back at the pack. "If any of them try to leave, break their legs! I want them alive, for now!" Was the last thing Rogue said to his men before he disappeared. The rest of his men remained, but they retreated into the trees, out of sight, still there, but watching. The silence that followed next was deafening. No one said a wo
Nothing she could possibly say would help."Your pack killed my mate. SHE'S DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU. OF YOUR PACK! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE!" His yells echoed in the woods surrounding them. "You..." He whispered. "You are going to pay."Indianna was too stunned to speak. She was vaguely aware of Greyson putting himself between her and Rogue, but that didn't stop Indianna from staring at her brother who looked ferocious. His eyes were dark, teeth bared, face red and he was spitting blood when he spoke. "You, little sister, are going to suffer. Your pathetic mate can't protect you. Your pack. No one. You are no different from our parents. I thought I could change you. Make you into a version of yourself that I could be proud of. Oh, how I was wrong.""J-Jason," Indianna stuttered, her words barely audible. "I didn't want this to happen-""I don't want your fake pity!" He roared and Indianna flinched. "I don't want lies! I want revenge!"*Sugar, you know I will die before I let him get to you.*H
